I used to absolutely love Vivienne Westwood Boudoir, it was incredibly heady 😍 I’d spray my scarves with it and if you put them away the scent would still be there next winter it was that strong. You could get a big bottle of eau de parfum off Amazon for £18. Just searched online and it’s discontinued 💔 Can’t believe people are selling bottles with a sliver in for £80.

I started this thread because I was a bit put out by my perfume I put on today. Brand new, though bought last year but kept sealed in a box - Tom Ford’s neroli potifino. It lasted about an hour and then faded! It’s not cheap, so any tips on how to make them last longer?!
It’s the same with Jo Malone. I have 2 and neither have much longevity 😤

Anyone else annoyed that the shops have removed all perfume testers these days? So frustrating :( I was in Selfridges the other day, and they did have testers out, but the sales assistant literally screamed at me: "Do not touch it!!! I will spray for you". I get it, but this kinda ruins my shopping experience. I wonder how long that will go on for- no testers?

I love Pomegranate Noir. When I started buying it about 6 years ago it was £58. Expensive but I loved it.
Now it’s £102 and I refuse to spend as much as that.
I have never come across Jo Malone's perfumes though I know people rave about her range. I happened to be in Selfridges the other day waiting for someone and spotted her counter. Having enjoyed this thread so much, I decided to try out the scents. I chose a few at random and put them on the blotting sticks and labelled them. Later I took them home and stuck them in a drawer underneath my computer. My goodness! Even days later, every time I open my drawer, I am hit with the most glorious aromas. These perfumes are long lasting.
I chose English Oak and Hazelnut (which s my favourite); Jasmine and Marigold, Myrrh and Tonka Bean and Velvet Rose and Oud.
I am horrified at the cost of them! Even the body creams are £66. I know why though. I don't think I've ever seen them on offer either.

Just got my hands on the Zara red temptation which is supposed to be a dupe for Baccarat Rouge.

I wouldn’t say it’s an exact dupe, but they are kind of similar. I think the Zara has to settle for a good 10/15 minutes as I think it smells quite metallic at first. It’s nice for an every day perfume and a good price compared to Baccarat!

I just got a sample of Maison Margiela Jazz Club, omg it smells so nice. It smells exactly like this place I went to years ago for some illusion show. Unfortunately I find Replica perfumes dont last very long one me. I had Beach Walk which smells incredible but disappears after an hour.

I will always love Miss Dior - it just smells expensive and reminds me of being in duty free

Great to see you remembered
I’ve found it!!!! It has just popped into my head after 20 years… Armand Basi! But thank you for looking. How weird that I’ve been thinking about this perfume for years and it just came to me- something must have prodded my subconscious! I’ve found it on eBay- will definitely buy it 😍
Is it just me that feels awkward when people ask what fragrance you are wearing and you tell them and they look at you blankly when you say the name or brand? I was wearing le labo’s santal 33 when I went into town to go to the EE Shop to change my broadband at the weekend. A male dealt with me and he asked me what I was wearing as he could smell it as soon as he walked in and thought it was a Hermes one. When I told him what it was, he just looked at me like he had no idea what I was talking about 😂

May I ask what age you are? It’s just whilst I find Chanel#5 lovely then I feel like it’s an older women’s smell if you see what I mean?
Im 35 and i've been wearing it for about 10 years on and off! It is 'of a certain era' and not modern at all but its also an absolute classic and has that lovely soapy smell.

For different reasons because they remind of different times in my life....

Victor and Rolf Flowerbomb

Clinique Happy.

Britney Spears Midnight... something or other DO NOT JUDGE ME 🤣😂🤣😂

I also use the baby perfume agua de colonia by Nenuco
ALL over after my shower every morning 🙂
I adore the stuff, especially in summer because apparently bugs and knats hate the smell 🤣

My favourite ever is Coco Madmoiselle followed very closely by Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess.
These are both pretty pricey though so I like to have some cheaper ones in my stash to use on the daily.

The best high street perfumes are Zara’s. They are so affordable and so nice! They have so many to chose from too. One of my recent favourites is Deep Garden it’s gorgeous.
For anyone on a budget who loves Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, Summer Sun by Next is a very good dupe and it's £14 for 100ml.

I treated myself to the Christmas lancome gift set:
Tresor
Tresor nuit
La vie est belle I have a bigger bottle of this
Miracle
Idole

Omg they're all gorgeous.
I think tresor is divine and my husband loves it on me which is saying something as he never cares about me wearing perfumes.

I'm a perfume junkie. I could read Fragrantica all day long.
Has anyone got/tried Euphoria (Calvin Klein)? I'm looking for a 90s vibe fragrance and have heard very good things but I'm getting sick of blind buying and not liking what I've ordered 😂
I spend so much time on that site!!! I love hearing people descriptions of scents.

I have an absurdly large perfume collection. I think at last count I had around 120…but I don’t really drink very often, or smoke, or spend a lot on clothes.
I think my current favourites are Chanel Coromandel and 31 Rue Cambon, and Ex Nihilo Sweet Morphine.

Ariana grande cloud surprisingly! Smells exactly like Baccarat Rouge 540 and I get so many compliments when I wear it.

I went on a date last week and he mentioned how nice I smelt about 5 times 😂 no better compliment
