Got the Beauty Pie vanilla fragrance yesterday. Have given it to my partner as it’s way more him. Still waiting on my expensive purchases 😬

Has anyone had a whiff of the Kayali vanilla candy rock sugar?? Tried to sample it in boots but they didn't have it stocked in my local one

I am probably not the best person to answer this as I find Kayali perfumes to not be for me generally.

However I have actually had a smell just this morning. Tested it on a paper stick though - it reminded me of candy floss. Didn’t pick up any of the pear note and think It’s very sugary sweet . Whilst like the others it’s not for me I didn’t dislike it.
---
I have also had a sniff of the Kylie Jenner Cosmic perfume too this morning ( also Boots).

i quite liked this too. Really quite girly and feminine . Nice but not for me.

I have it. Really like it for this time of year. Seems to last well enough on fabric. I sprayed that and princess by Kilian on a jacket and could smell it in my room days later, but you do need to spray a good bit of it. The 10mls from Kayali are a great size if you want to try it without buying the full bottle. It’s a non offensive fresh sweet fragrance with a pear note in the opening that fades pretty quickly. If you’re a sweet gourmand person its a great layering scent for other sweeties.

This thread is seriously bad for my spending 🤣
[/QUOTE]

Given that we're only in May, so far this year I've splurged on Tom Ford (disappointing) and Diptique. Only yesterday I've just and ordered Delina Exclusif, a Jo Malone travel spray and more bloody Sol de Janerio body spray because 'sure why not it's only a few extra quid here or there...'

I definitely have a problem. 🙋‍♀️

Send help....

I love Paula's Ibiza. A very sexy summer scent with a hint of something a bit darker. I had it on the go for 2 summers and recently smelled Noted Aromas Tahiti which is meant to be a dupe for Vanilla Vibes and it is similar and delicious.

So glad I found this thread!! Been looking to try some new perfumes so taking notes from you lovely bunch! I’m using Perfume Parlour for my samples just to get a rough idea of scent, just so I don’t go buying blind. But if anyone has other recommendations for dupe sites feel free to share (although I imagine there’s a few named in the thread if I remember rightly!)

And I currently have 2x faves: La Labo Santal 33 and Jo Malones BlackBerry and Bay (had it as a mini in a gift set and fell in love with it)

Dupe site I use is Essence Vault. Currently using their dupe of Black opium and whilst it doesn't have the depth, it smells very similar!

After sampling the PDM discovery set, I finally bought Delina Exclusif. It finally arrived today!

This has been quite a big deal for me because I'd never ever imagine spending 280 euro on a fragrance. 165 euro for Diptique use to be my cut off point and bring my husbands blood pressure up! 😄

Well Delina is everything you could ever imagine and more, beautiful and very feminine. The bottle AND lid are very heavy but it feels very luxurious and as it should be for the price! I hope the bottle lasts a while. I'll probably keep it for special occasions etc. I'm planning on wearing it to a wedding.

But I can guarantee you that nobody will compliment me on it. It's always a 12 euro bottle of SJP Lovely ( trusty old classic) that gets you the compliments 😂

Also, for straight up banana, but in body care items, try Kwailnara Banana body lotion and body cleanser. They're sometimes available at TK Maxx in big yellow pump bottles and smell just like banana milkshake and the scent lasts. 🙂
I got this in TK Maxx. The smell is so nostalgic. I love it!

I found my Victoria Beckham samples in a drawer today. Out of all of them, the one that has aged the best is the Portofino one, smells absolutely divine. I really really don't need another bottle of perfume ....but it smells really really good.........
