You are right..but it would have been a good thing if they could afford it.
I definitely agree that they should have explored all options for homeschooing Abbie, especially if they felt that public school neglected her. But I also have to be logical....Special Ed in public schools wouldn’t exist if it was just a matter of homeschooling your kids.

I agree with both of you.
I love my grandkids fiercely....cannot imagine not helping to get them anything they needed if I could.
But I also think perhaps P's parents drew a line in the sand.....I imagine they bailed them out a lot over the years.

In keeping with the theme of not making up shit to put out here...
I wanted to clear up something.
They did not close their repair shop because it wasn't making money.
They closed it because the city was requiring "new zoning for the building that was outside of their budget".
In addition, was working along side him at the shop.
Not at Lowes full time.
She may have been delivering groceries part time while she worked at the shop, I don't know.
Anyway.
Just wanted to clear that up.

At what point was she a manager at Lowes? I read that here. You don’t just get to walk into a retail job and become manager, you either need experience or had to be working there for years.

So what is the truth?

A timeline would be nice so facts actually make sense and add up.

And Summer is going home Sunday. Did you all catch what she said btw?
"Yes, I have a family, I just live here to go to school."
LOL Hi Summer!

If she ever was a manager at Lowes, maybe it was way long ago when they lived in the Carolinas?
I recall after they got to Jacksonville, she went to work at a shipyard or something as a manager.
I can't keep up with these small details.
You're right. A timeline would be necessary to keep it straight but I don't care enough to make one. It's just not that important in my life.

Very well done.
Thank you for taking the time to do that!!
No problem!! I would like to do some more research, just out of curiosity.

Totally agree..was going to post this link also but real life interrupted , don't you hate when that happens
Great minds!!! I had this all ready to post a few days ago, then life got in the way here as well!!

Im just saying in general it would be nice, not for you to make one. All I know is I read somewhere on this forum she worked at Lowes as a manager. And I figured she had to working there for years to obtain a position like that.

Priscilla clearly has always been that woman who prances into a clothing store & loves the attention from the employees (who are paid to lie). Even if she shops clearance, it was still more than she needed to spend. But I’m guessing they were getting food stamps (EBT? card), amongst other help financially, so she had $ to shop & also get her hair & nails done frequently. She’s so self-centered.

When Assa responded to her chicken & bacon recipe in yesterday’s vlog, he sounded concerned. She didn’t sound like someone who is wanting to lose weight.

And HB Priss, did you hear that? He’s going to clean up the closet, to encourage you to get rid of more of your larger clothes FOR A REASON! (The past 2 vlogs, the “$12” shirts are too small!)

I’m sorry if this is a repeat. The article says Abbie worked with the specialist for 10 years, and Abbie was 12 when the article was published. Am I that bad at math or do the numbers not match up?

It also doesnt help that THEY alter their timeline as they see fit. I mean, remember until the scandal broke we thought they only moved to JAX because P's parents were there and said jobs were plentiful. Now we know that P moved to JAX alone with Isaiah while Asa was off making daughter #1. Thats just one example, but over the years I've noticed small things they've said, and been like, hmmm....I thought they said xyz. Who knows. They're liars so its hard for anyone to know the truth, and I'm sure theres plenty I dont remember about them that someone else might.

It's tough. As a parent who barely makes ends meet, and with two kids who are special needs..

Homeschooling or private would likely be better for my kids. Cant afford private, and some of the issues we are dealing with is way above what we have the ability to manage. My eldest is very smart, but has executive dysfunction of some sort where he just cant seem to do the work. I cant teach him what he is unwilling to do. The teacher and his EA were able to get him to do these things, tho.

I made sure tho that he had an EA. (Even that was a fight, they really didnt want him to have one). My younger may not be able to be in a regular class at all, even with assistance. I'm a strange parent tho in comparison to my peers- I'm strangely very very aware of my kids abilities and where they are. (Most parents are in very serious denial).

Anyway, I dont know the real answer. I just know that a lot of us dont have the ability to homeschool

Assa & Isa. are notorious for looking off to the side when they talk, which often times it makes them look like they are lying about something.
