I was a loyal fan, watched every day and even bought slimelife from P. I tried to like the makeup but never could get it to look good and not dry out my skin something horrible. It accentuates every single wrinkle you have and ones you didnt know you had!

I had the same experience you did. I didn't know there were forums to complain until THE video was posted and they complained about these forums and so I did a quick google search because I'm nosy and wanted to know more details about the scandal. I was a lurker for a few weeks, picking up on things that were pointed out on here. And then the quarantine happened and and as a Dunkin employee, their continous visits when we all know they have a coffee pot at home and have no need to go out was what made me start posting.
The “Village” that JSA is looking to create, would allow everyone within the community to work, have appropriate oversight, learn, etc. and either live in a group home setting or independently. There are several of these communities popping up around the US. The problem is, by what I can tell, none of these would allow Abbie to work and live in them. They require that the person go through VR services and be able to handle some independent direction without complete oversight constantly...
These “Villages” are also very expensive. They not only require the parents to sign over their monthly funds but they also usually require the family to make several huge payments to secure housing. They are a logistical nightmare for Medicaid and Medicare to bill and depending on the state, if they can even use them. Some that aren’t dependent on Medicaid and Medicare require families to constantly pay monthly too..
In New Mexico or Texas, they did this with an apartment complex. Each 1 bedroom apartment, sold for $650k... Then their monthly funds from SSA and Medicaid were used for upkeep and care of all the individuals.. I don’t even know if they got to open..
The Village runs itself, having some learning to cook, others learning to fix items, etc. If they want to change jobs, they can request it and will eventually be able to try that job..
The biggest issue is that parents facing retirement, to find places like this, have to look at a huge debit, just to secure their adult child’s housing and even then, it isn’t completely secure because some of these never materialize and leave families scrambling to find long term housing...
But as Stripe69 says, Abbie is too IDD to be able to fulfil any useful function as she has nil attention span and would need constant supervision. She cant lay a table, cant peel vegetables, cant clean effectively so sadly would probably not be accepted into such a community.

Agree about Sandy. In one vlog you can hear Priscilla talking sweetly to someone in the pool and I thought, wow, sounds like she's actually having a good time with Abbie...but it was Sandy she was playing with. I can understand that Abbie would be a hard child to bond with or even to love, but P has it in her to be nurturing to a dog. She can at least try with Abbie. It just seems like she is becoming more and more distant with her.I can'tthis enough!!!

The P.O. Box haul was not that much considering they said it had been left at the P.O. for a long time. I remember when they would go at least once a week and get near that much. ALL of it should be donated - after all they are "unsolicited from complete strangers" so they shouldn't be accepted.

Anyway as he grew he became bigger and stronger and his parents suffered terribly trying to control him. When he got to about 30, he would stand on the front step flailing about and grunting and scaring all the kids.
One night we saw an ambulance come to their house and it turned out the father had a heart attack and died. After that the mother just couldn’t handle him because of his size and meltdowns and came for my husband many times to help out.
The sad thing is she had to have him put in a home as he beat her very badly one day and soon after she died. I think about her often and what an awful life she had and wonder what became of the son.
I fear that this will be what happens to Abbie as there will come a point when she is too much for them and the irony is it’s their own fault for not trying to correct her behaviours.

I’m not a dog expert but I thought Sandy looked underweight tooThey are not crate training. I crate trained both my Golden’s and it’s been a godsend, but they were started in crate training before even coming to me from their breeder. It makes house breaking so much easier! I’d put money on sandy not being house broken. She’s also soooo poorly bred. She’s small and scrawny. She’s Got to be close to 6 Months by now, my dogs were easily close to 50 lbs and well muscled at that point, but they also are exercised, trained and well bred. My puppy (just turned 1) is crated any time I’m not home and overnight. I think sandy is crated anytime she’s not outside.
If mothering isn’t her jam why did she get another babyI agree with you. I Crate trained my dog and the only time that he's in his cage is when I'm not home. I bet they got the dog from a puppy farm or likewise and I can bet that they aren't feeding her the correct food either.
