I feel like all of a sudden BAM its trendy to dress like you’ve stepped out of 2002. I am not here for low rise anything or stuff that looks like something you’d buy in Bay Trading (remember that shop). I feel like I am now officially old because I’m no longer keeping up with the trends.

I got on the tube the other day, I was so confused I thought I entered some sort of time wharp and was back in the early 00s, 3 teenage girls stood in the carriage, one was wearing baggy jeans, Reebok trainers, a grungy hoody and crimped hair! Another was wearing a denim jacket, with a backpack, doc Martin’s, and cargo pants, and the third one was wearing jeans, boots and a baggy t shirt with a long sleeve top underneath! I was there in my work trousers with my loafers and a shirt feeling super uncool! And I’m only 26

Also the 10 layers of make up look.... we recently interviewed a lady and afterwards my CEO said - No, she just wears to much make-up, so yes it makes you look cheap and tacky

Agree about PLT and Boohoo. Any of those cheap online fast fashion retailers, specialising in trashy milkmaid dresses and Insta loungewear, sending marketing emails calling you 'Babe' which makes me throw up in my mouth.

I' am such a petty bitch but i fucking hate when girls wear 'festival' clothes. Dont get me wrong, i love festivals but i hate when girls go and buy a complete new wardrobe purely because they are going to a festival. Maybe im old and boring but bring back the days when Glastonbury wasnt a fashion show.
Also people who wear 'band'/artists t-shirts because they are 'cool', yet they have no idea who the band is!! Rolling stones tops and Fleetwood Mac are my pet hate because i love those bands and i wouldnt dream of wearing a tshirt with them on it. A girl i used to work with had a Fleetwood Mac Rumours t shirt on once, so we chatted about them and it turns out she didnt even know who they were but saw someone wear it on instagram and thought it was cool.

I wore a floaty skirt with trainers one day when I was away on a school trip and my friend turned around to me and went "what are you wearing? Don't you have any fashion sense at all?" Just turns out I was ahead of the curve!

These kind of dresses. I live in Dubai and there's always escort/porta potty types going out to the clubs wearing them. It's so highly inappropriate in an Islamic country. Not to mention, they're absolutely hideous and incredibly tacky.
