Roving reporter alert.....in all seriousness given that yesterday.......
......I attended the beautiful Jac's funeral yesterday (Jacs was a dear friend to me who helped Dad and I with his garden after mum passed away and years ago, she was also my long suffering Step Reebok instructor).....and who should I spot but Charlie, Josie, Lala and a chap who looked early 50s but i didnt recognise....he was the only one who spoke to people and was pleasant. I was seated directly across from Charlie.....whose loud voice and endless diatribe of his view of the widower's (the lovely Martin) emotional state was beyond disrespectful. Charlie was sporting his mid olive green suit with the very fitted leg style....it made his very short legs look even shorter. I stood right behind their party as we exited the church (after a beautiful service that captured Jacs vivacity perfectly.).
Charlie was sporting a rather bronzed glow that Josie did not so I assumed that he had overdone the fake tan. Height wise, he is definitely no more than 5ft 7 tops. It's a shame that his eyes are so close together and deep set as I have to admit otherwise he has a pleasant face.....but that boy loves the sound of his own voice.
Josie had her hair tied back into a very short ponytail (I was taken back how short it was given the Farah Fawcett long locks she usually sports) with a pearl scrunchie......Lala was wearing her hair the same way plus an identical scrunchie
You will all have guessed that Josie was wearing .........a green floral dress
I did not hear Josie speak once but I would add that out of the two of them Charlie seemed genuinely emotional/tearful during the service.
I did note that Josie's nails were sporting yet more bland beige in an overly thick late 1990s gel style and one of the three was oozing a sickenly sweet perfume or cologne.
After leaving the church, the chap in their party who I didn't recognise escorted Lala out of the churchyard, I assume to drive her home Josie and Charlie headed off around far side of church, I suspect to walk home across the field. I did not see them again ie they did not join the mourners across the road at The George to raise a glass to Jacs.
I did spot the chap in their group( who I didn't recognise) at the George later and he seemed pleasant enough.
My overall impression.....well I'm still not sure what to make of Josie's manner or personality as I saw nothing......looks wise her teeth are less obvious in real life (and I'm pleased for her sake to say that). She suits her hair tied back rather than the ridiculous big hair because her facial features are quite delicate.
I'm glad that they attended as I know Jacs worked so hard on their garden and imparted so much of her wonderful knowledge to them. I hope I've myself, they feel honoured to have called Jacs their friend.

I'm going to guess that Charlie piled on the cologne, and Josie's description seems very accurate... they really should have joined the others to raise a glass to Jacs.
. My impression of her is she wouldn’t be the type to want a man and his “malarkey”. But who knows
