Why cant white people have that hair? It's nice and we like it? I know plenty of black people who have their hair relaxed or wear wings to be straight and blonde/brown...

Mia's recent video..i still don't understand why her fans (who are probably all young teens) are still asking assumptions on whether she has a boyfriend, if she's snuck out, gotten drunk etc. when she clearly has already mentioned these things before in previous videos. I feel all she talks about now is boys and 'boyfriends'. How can she get a boyfriend when she doesn't go to school, she is forced to move house with her family all the time and has no friends and goes to no parties? She's trying so hard to 'fit in' with teens her age, but she's only exposed to what she sees online. These are the kind of silly fun topics that you chat to friends with, but she doesn't have that option so instead she talks about it via Youtube. I really like Mia, but she really needs friends and it shows.
I'm sorry but that comment has really wound me up, so we now have to tell our "white" kids when they ask for braids oh sorry bunny you cant have that pretty hairstyle because your not black?

Most PoC I know don’t have an issue with “white” kids having box braids - I’m white so honestly can not comment on all PoC or from a PoC view but I do know that box braids damage white girl hair resulting in the braids of hair actually falling out in some cases as Caucasian hair is not as strong as black hair. I don’t see an issue with siennas hair and I don’t think many if any of my PoC friends would either but certain braids aren’t suitable for white girl hair, just like straightening/overheat on black girl hair isn’t suitable.
Do find it quite ironic though that your complaining about white kids not being allowed braids when there is the BLM movement going on. Like sweetie us white people and our white kids will never have to go through what black kids/black people will have to go through.

Honestly, Sienna is definitely overlooked, with Mia's channel being more successful with hers and Karma and Koa being...well...babies and drawing in a lot of viewers. Sienna's only role in the family seems to be entertaining her little sister and brother. Sienna is probably the least memorable of the family and she always seems to be seen with her siblings in videos, and with the exception of birthdays there are way more videos mainly featuring mia, karma and koa.
I am very sorry if my comment offended and I am also sorry not to move on with the discussion but I would like to clarify my point about the cornrows.
Very recently black children were being excluded from school in the UK because they wore their hair in cornrows. Schools thought they were associated with gangs when actually they are a traditional hair choice. There are still schools and workplaces out there with uniform policies that directly and indirectly discriminate against black hair.
I don’t want to police anyone’s hairstyle and I am sorry if that’s the message I projected. But for me if we look at it as appreciation vs appropriation we can see that appreciation would involve perhaps wearing the hairstyle AND also standing up against the systemic oppression that has persecuted black people including the policing of hair.
Georgie and Darren letting her have the hairstyle and putting it in for her in the current climate while only participating in the blackout when conveniently they had to say nothing at all on the subject despite having a massive platform they could have shared educational links with, the motto “treasure others”, and the means to donate is appropriation to me.

I’m not trying to make fun of Mia I genuinely feel bad for her but Mia doesn’t have friends,cousins anyone to add to a private account so what would be the point of it on private accounts people post drunk selfies and more embarrassing pictures but Mia doesn’t to a whole lot without her family so she wouldn’t have anything to post

I agree - I find her life so sad for a 15 year old. She has nothing except for her family - no friends, extended family, acquaintances, no ties to anything. They are so disconnected from reality as a family and Mia posts about her life as if it is something great (which yes, you could argue that she is very privileged and does have a good life compared to others when thinking about material things) but it just seems such an empty life in my opinion.
So true, we've only heard of her one friend when they lived in Brighton (Patricia?) that they tried to call on their failed prank call video, but I think they've also referred to one of her tutors using the same name - could just be a coincidence but if not it's sad that as a 12/13 year old (at the time) her only friend was her teacher? What happened to all those girls she invited to her 13th unicorn birthday? Does she not keep in contact with them?
I felt even sadder for Mia when in her assumptions video she said that she doesn't really talk to anyone online either - proving that her only socialization is what we see on camera with her family. I had hoped that she would have kept in contact with her old friends online or if they were truely doing homeschool they often have chatrooms/online spaces for other kids doing the same program to socialise and discuss their work on.
Mias come across very fake in her videos she’s nearly obnoxiously giggle and smiley it’s easy to see that it’s all an act put on for the camera I really don’t think anyone who watches her videos knows what her actual personality is some you tubers are known to be sarcastic, funny, wild but with Mia know one knows what her personality really is if that makes sense
I don’t think so...I have a real problem with these two ...Georgie is crazy eyed and manic and Darren just plain creepy...but worst of all is they use Mia as the hired help....she cooks, cleans and takes care of babies. She has no formal education her home schooling consists of Spanish and what ever else she wants to look at on the web...and they sexualise that girl at every opportunity, she is always in skimpy clothing, bikini and they photoshop her body as well. She is a tiny girl anyway so why do they need to change anything about her...Sienna is just a permanent play date for her younger sister and I fear for her education and future and she is bright and animated and she to will become hired help at some point. Both these girls are also socially isolated and I fear very lonely...Interesting thought is that according to socialblade when karma was born their earnings shoepwed at nearly 2 mil Australian dollars and as it stands now they are under 500k Australian dollars...not sure what that is in pounds but a huge drop...the baby boy didn’t bring the cash fall that karma did...perhaps one is a novelty with the big age gap and another is just the same old same old...

I think it's become very clear (maybe with the exception of Mia) that the family are losing interest in what they do. The only time they post on instagram is to somehow benefit themselves- they will put a tiktok on their story to get everyone to follow their tiktok and will post family groups pictures to get everyone to follow all of their accounts. Or they'll just post merch pictures. They haven't even bothered to update their "About" section on their channel to include Koa. It's sad that they used to put so much effort in to make their channel good and now all they care about is promoting their merch and getting more followers. There's no sense of community in their videos anymore, maybe something to do with their comments being turned off, but I don't really think the "fizz fam" exists anymore since they just started doing clickbait videos once a week. And they expect people to flood in to buy their fizz fam merch. I think they should make a bit more of an effort to interact to show that they care about their fanbase and not just making money (I remember in the early days they used to do a sort of shoutout every day where they would read out a comment, I can't imagine them doing anything like that now since they're so detached from their fans and just block everyone)
