I do think this set of regulations is gonna be an absolute disaster and mess. And they will very quickly be replaced by a new set of regs. Even quicker than the 26 regs replacing the 22 regs.This would be a big oops if true
The chassis regulations are being bodged to make them work with the new PU specs, because the amount of energy recovery needed is insane.
Should've simplified the hybrid side like they are doing but not increased the % of electric. Should be screaming about using 100% sustainable fuels and pushing that angle, which I think is perfectly valid because electric isn't the alternative to every combustion engine. So then we could have ICE w/ hybrid and V8 instead of V6 on sustainable fuels and we all be a bit happier.
