Oh God, I don't know how I missed thatI mean this is really the one that had me spitting out my tea and it's not even a comment, just the article itself:
Her move will come as a relief to some colleagues at Linklaters, one of whom told RollOnFriday, "there isn't a single person I know who works here who doesn't visibly cringe upon seeing her videos"
Absolutely savage.
Looks like she's now moving out of Links and into product management in legal tech.Does anyone know why she wanted to become a lawyer? I thought she was a sciencey person? She loves biology.
But surely she would've said something? She's been completely silent, and MCC haven't posted anything either.Probably delayed cause of coronavirus. Manufacturing difficulties, problems with shipping, people not being able to spend lots of money etc.
I remember that video. She seemed so proud about that task when it was such a stupid thing to do for someone with a law degree. The one where showed what she did at work - write the newsletters for example.
that's the same impression I got from the video. is that all she does? calling people and saying: "how is it going? you done?"Her jobs basically micromanging. Constantly asking much more knowledgable engineers and devs “how you doing on this” every hour of the day.
Maybe it's the type of law? I worked in Legal Aid and we always had to dress pretty formally.I don't know tbh - I'm a lawyer in the City and - I accept that it differs between firms - my firm is super chilled about these things. I hardly ever dress in a 'corporate way'. Depending on the client, I have a suit I can put on but even then, a lot of my clients are pretty casual and would find me dressing corporate super weird. Also, firms are SO focused on diversity now, they'll probably be proud of Eve. Obviously there are exceptions - some outfits are never appropriate for the office. But like....if I wear jeans from time to time, for example, no one would care as long as my clients like me and I'm hitting my billing targets lol
Nah I’m pretty sure she’s just referring to the carabinerIs her story suggesting she’s moving in with her gf?
I read some speculation that she was only in the Tech Start-Up because of being allegedly unbearable to work with elsewhere, but then I found some info about the tech start-up rotation and it sounds really competitive? So I'm confused what to think about it at this point.Yeah the commenter quoted it from the article and later on for some reason Roll on Friday removed the actual quote from the article. I think it was removed because people were speculating who it could be in the comment section.
I'm guessing they've seen people put information about her on here. So I'm guessing she's removed people she hasn't ever metI wonder why
