Agree with you, I also just think Skillshare has been done to death, it feels like anyone could get a collab with them. It would be nice to see more variation in brand sponsorships across YouTube as a whole, but that’s a separate issue

Completely agree, I get so annoyed whenever I hear "this video is sponsored by Skillshare", but I am soooo curious to know how much they're paying

That last one was also sponsored so it’s not just like she was doing it for fun! Despite saying the profits would be donated surely that only means what she makes off the video and not her fee

Considering Eve's management, I don't trust for a second that a charity will get a penny without seeing proof.

And considering BetterHelp's controversial history, this isn't exactly the best choice of sponsor either.

She finally uploaded the new day in the life and I gotta say I love when she does this kind of content (much better than those series trying to explain the cases). She seems way more content at her currently new job than she ever did while working in law.
I just have one thing that's bugging my mind: I thought that she had hired someone to edit her videos (the style of the editing is significantly different comparing to older ones), but at the end of the video she spoke about "editing eve" ???

The biggest thing I took from this new video is that she needs to be introduced to an iron for her horrible scruffy and creased t-shirt.

I wonder what it's like for Eve to be with someone that is - as has been pointed out on this thread before - extremely rich/comes from a very rich family. Don't get me wrong, Eve's parents definitely aren't poor, they seem to be a very (upper? ) middle class family but I'm sure she's not exactly used to the level of wealth the girlfriend grew up in and is accustomed to. I come from a working-class family and notice how I always feel and felt a tiny bit uncomfortable and out of place when e.g. staying at a friend's house whose family is very very wealthy. Clearly, Eve makes good money now but I am genuinely interested to what extent class differences impact her relationship. My partner doesn't come from the same, but a very similar background and I really enjoy that we see eye to eye on many issues because of that shared or similar life experience.

Thought this was funny. Someone posted this comment on Roll on Friday (a website where a lot of lawyers gossip).They’ve redacted the persons name but 100% seems to be talking about Eve.

I’m in the industry myself and I can’t think of anyone else it could be about. Plus they refer to a “managing associate” which is a known Linklaters position/title (99.9% of other firms use “Senior Associate”). Basically seems no one wants to work with her, may explain why she’s doing a random start up seat now.

The thing that confused me about that comment (having found it on the website) is that it reads like it's quoting from the article, but that comment isn't in the original article text, did they remove it?

I find it sort of... funny. As I'd understand it, law is one of those fields where you go in expecting to work long hours and possibly miss out on family/friend time. It's not ideal by all means, but at the same time she sort of did sign up for it

Just started watching her new video on Alec Baldwin's case and gosh the editing is so off!!!! I felt soooo uncomfortable. Thank God I am not the only one here and in the comment section of the video. I think the topic is too recent and too serious to approach it the way she approached it. The video looks distasteful and disrespectful.

I was a bit weirded out at that comment, not gonna lie. Not everybody can be the best at their job anyway??? As long as you do what you're supposed to do, there's no need to be the absolute best at what you do. It's a very toxic mindset to have, in any aspect of your life, and one that's quite immature imo.

Emphasis on should, considering eve has moved back in with her family over the last year (first lockdown) and then done whatever she likes aka get a girlfriend, stay in hotels, live with her friends, she really won’t give a fuck because I’ve found the people who haven’t lost much or sacrificed any thing have been most likely to break the rules, where as people who have lost loved ones from cancer and covid and who aren’t earning £££ have sacrificed a lot over the last year
