how tone-deaf/downright silly do you have to be to brag about getting a job in spain without even speaking spanish, after a whole year of spain’s economy (bars, restaurants, hotels, shops... you name it) being impacted even worse than other countries because of its reliance on tourism? i honestly hope she doesn’t get it

Does she seriously think getting a job in a bar/shop in Seville is the best idea rn? Does she not think locals will be struggling to keep jobs themselves? I don't know if she seriously lacks common sense and is dim, or if she's self centred enough to forget there's a literal global pandemic going on right now and the world doesn't revolve around her and what she wants to do

Pretty sure Eve is aware that not all her followers live in England but that doesn't mean she can't address a message to her followers that do live in England? Not everything an influencer says has to apply to everybody.
Not Eve, suddenly tweeting about her uni not changing required time abroad and there no point being abroad because you can't immerse yourself in the languages because of lockdowns and having to limit social contact? Any responsible person would have thought those all of those risks existed in September to. My uni wouldn't change my year abroad requirements either but I recognised all of those reasons and stood my ground, even if rules allowed travel and socialising a responsible person would still limit their social contact. Eve went to Germany and was out like every day and even went on holiday to Poland, she's only using her common sense now because she's worried about flights not running and getting her way otherwise she'd have treated Spain with the same logic as Germany. She's always had a very entitled approach to her year abroad being abroad being the most important thing in this whole pandemic and has had no perspective literally until right now, a normal person would have come to those conclusions last year before things had even gotten this bad

She's actually infuriating to listen to, her rant about her going to Spain was her trying to justify herself because she must KNOW deep down that even if it's legal to do so, it's still morally wrong. Describing the fact that she had covid as "that was a risk I took upon myself"... no, she put herself and every SINGLE person she was in contact with at risk. People like her are the reason numbers will continue to rise. She's lucky to still have her health after having covid, but is willing to jeopardise that and the health of those around her so she can say she had a picture-perfect year abroad.

We've all had to make sacrifices, so why should Eve be allowed to jet off to Germany, Poland and Spain and not even follow social distancing rules? The fact that she's complaining when she was able to do so much in 2020 is just a kick in the face to people who have actually struggled in the pandemic. And yes, of course, we're allowed to be upset about missing things because of the pandemic even when others have suffered more, but my god I've never heard anyone complain as much as she has... Sorry Eve but people are dying, no one cares about your birthday celebrations being postponed x xx

The way she talks in her new video about having to move to Spain instead of Argentina like it's just SO terrible has wound me up this morning lol. "I don't hate Spain, it just doesn't jump out to me as a place I want to live" well don't come and live here then. And then she says she wants to find bar work?? In Spain?? Where unemployment levels are rising to crisis level?? Spanish people can't find work, what makes you think they're going to employ you!! Wow sorry just needed to get that off my chest

Uh her entire year abroad collapsed but she was still able to go? I don't remember her once saying how fortunate she is, lots of people last year and this year have had to leave their years abroad.

Like I’m genuinely worried that even a seemingly intelligent young woman like herself wouldn’t know this... So when have birthdays been that big of a deal anyways? I mean as a kid they were pretty great but since turning like 14 or 15 they haven't been that special. Yes it a reason to party and have a fun day but it's nothing so special you'd have to talk about it for months and take it way too seriously.

like sorry but I'm actually in shock?? I haven't stepped foot back in a pub since March and haven't visited anywhere outside my local area. Yet eves been to Edinburgh, Cornwall, center parcs, Stratford, Cornwall again, Manchester, Edinburgh again, Glasgow, Berlin, Hamburg, Poland and back home again. And we're expected to feel so sorry for her that she's had it a bit roughJesus I'd love to see a busy year for her if this is how she gets about during a global pandemic
