On her Instagram story she thinks she got a job she just had an interview for in Spanish. I’m all for feeling confident after an interview but I’m not sure I’d put it on my social media - what if she doesn’t get it now? She could have kept it to close friends and family and then if she didn’t get it, you don’t have a load of people asking about it

i've been unemployed since march, but i've recently found a part-time job in retail, it's only 6€/h (welcome to spain, eve) so it's impossible for me to live anywhere besides by parents' home...and she just had a phone call (with very bad Spanish skills according to her) and got a job here? and she doesn't even realise her own privilege...
Her instagram story annoyed me so much - it was massively braggy in tone, and I can't get over how smug the 'think I got the job teehee x' sounded? When I applied for my current job I didn't tell anyone except for my mum and my best friend despite having been told informally that I had it, I only told people once I'd had my first day. I'm not saying she won't get it, but if she doesn't, what will she do then? Not to mention the awful job situation right now, and the fact that there will be people in much more need of work than she is. My dad works in the events industry and hasn't had any work since February, and a friend who took voluntary redundancy in January with hopes for a career change has applied to jobs with over 1000 applicants with absolutely no luck.

God I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to be in your position and to see Eve's stories/posts about working in Spain
how tone-deaf/downright silly do you have to be to brag about getting a job in spain without even speaking spanish, after a whole year of spain’s economy (bars, restaurants, hotels, shops... you name it) being impacted even worse than other countries because of its reliance on tourism? i honestly hope she doesn’t get it
Wait, I read that as sarcasm! Like she said how bad it went and then followed it up with ‘think I got the job’, I just assumed she was poking fun at how badly she screwed up.
I just can’t be arsed with her honestly

Uh her entire year abroad collapsed but she was still able to go? I don't remember her once saying how fortunate she is, lots of people last year and this year have had to leave their years abroad.

Yes, her original plans may have collapsed but she was still able to spend, what 2 or 3 months in Germany??

Cracked me up with her C1 level of Spanish on her CV. Standard CEFR pegging at unis is B2 at the end of 2nd year, it will be lower if she is out of practice. Also common sense that you should practise both languages while abroad? I get year abroad is a big deal, COVID shat on mine and my partner's, but there is LOADS you can do to practise your language at home.
Also, someone should totally report her to Oxford for breaking COVID rules. Give her a taste of the real world and consequences.

Her complaining on Instagram about not being able to apply for a visa because the rules haven’t been sorted out was ridiculous. Surely it’s common sense that there’s no Brexit deal been sorted yet so nobody knows the rules? Anybody sensible would have planned around that and avoided trying to travel to the EU in January, but god forbid eve puts her plans on hold 
Thats not really the case - Im studying French at Cambridge and at the end of 1st year I got a C1 certification, and am aiming for a C2 by the end of this year.
I did languages at Cambridge too and a C2 is pretty impossible unless you've spent extensive time in the country.
I also noticed today she has a separate twitter for her journalism (her works not mine)
