So what on earth is she staying for!!

I know she might not be contagious anymore, but when I had COVID I limited how much I was going out because like Eve, I still had symptoms and didn't want to put others at unnecessary risk. Up to her right, but just wouldn't be me.
I feel stressed for her, why would you leave it so late to go home? It's not like she can just hop in a car and drive back home. My uni has specified the 3-9th window, with safety and wellbeing measures in place if you have to stay a few days longer than that or over Christmas because of flights or trains being booked already or if you're covid positive.
She has a whole border to cross, and it will be so close to Christmas. With how precarious everything is and the fact Berlin is under a lockdown....surely you would just want to be safe and go home as soon as possible? Even from a selfish perspective disregarding other people's safety, it doesn't make sense?

sorry but I couldn't care less if she wants to go to the pub or not, since that's all she's been doing in Berlin. I love in Manchester so I've been in a higher tier since.. July? August? It's been so long I can't even remember lol. She talks about how low she was being lonely for TWO weeks when she had to isolate but she honestly doesn't have the first clue. I (and so many others ofc) can't remember the last time I saw family members. I've met up with friends twice since March. I know nobody cares about me ranting about my own life but the entitlement of this girl just STINGS

She is ridiculous. I get everyone's problems are relative but she still got her time abroad, has met up with friends, been out drinking and for meals. Doesn't she realise most of us have been living like we're on full lockdown regardless of the rules?.
I havnt been to a restaurant/pub or seen friends since February. I live with my family and I'm working my office job 100% from home. I go for walks on the weekend and meet with my boyfriend on the weekend when we can. Havnt had a sleepover in ages!.
Also had to put off buying our first home together. It is what it is. I just wish she would acknowledge how lucky she has been and stop moaning about everything!.

It kind of irks me the way she uses social media to try and get internships. Like she puts up an instagram story saying "anyone know any good internships in Spain?' Normal people will do their own research into internships, contact companies and organisations and it may take them weeks to find an internship. Eve thinks she can bypass that because she has a lot of followers, so she can just get someone else to give it to her. It's always come across as a bit entitled, and like she expects everything to be handed to her whilst everyone else has to actually get stuff the proper way.
Does she seriously think getting a job in a bar/shop in Seville is the best idea rn? Does she not think locals will be struggling to keep jobs themselves? I don't know if she seriously lacks common sense and is dim, or if she's self centred enough to forget there's a literal global pandemic going on right now and the world doesn't revolve around her and what she wants to do
I thought this too! Companies often have internships specifically for Erasmus students, bars are just going to take anyone and I wish she would leave it for the locals who might be out of jobs too.

Exactly. She doesn’t need a job for the money, leave the job for the people who need it. She’s ticked the year abroad box anyway, even if it has been for shorter period than planned; I’m sure her uni will understand - some will not have been able to go anywhere. So why is she stressing herself out so much about now going to Spain? I wager it’s a tick box for her in her mind and she has to “achieve” it for her own validation. We are all disappointed this year, but some of use are barely managing financially, or health wise... she should count her lucky stars that YouTube keeps her flush with money, and at home she wants for nothing. She’ll be able to have a cozy Christmas with her Mum. I feel like this month she has become worse for tweeting inane stuff in the seek for engagement and validation.
Why doesn’t she just stay in Germany for most of the year, and then go to Spain next summer for a couple of months? And there are lots of remote courses now so she doesn’t need to miss out on the experience of learning Spanish and German. I would have thought doing an online course would be more beneficial than getting a job in a bar
It’s also super lazy of her not even to specify an industry, just ask for internships generally. Like all her followers should probably just know she wants to be a very serious journalist so she’ll only want those kind of internships

I’m not sure she’s grasped the amount of grind needed to break into journalism. Oxford might help but it’s only one part of the picture.

For someone who is so invested in being a political journalist and gave us a running commentary of the US election, Eve now appears to have no interest in UK politics - since the us election she’s not spoke about politics or current news at all except to complain about the tiers
she'll NEVER get a job in a bar here. The situation is pretty dire, most bars and cafes have either closed, furloughed their staff or outright fired them because there's no money. In the south of Spain the situation si even worse. If she'd done a quick google she'd have known that
