I’ve just seen the new video. It is heartbreaking. She is so adamant that she doesn’t need help, tablets or counselling. There is absolutely nothing wrong with needing support! I got her message as ‘ I’m grieving, I don’t have mental health issues’ - to me it’s absolutely not a sign of weakness & I truly believe it’s such a challenging time mentally that it’s advisable to speak to a professional. I think she is which is amazing.
She is very defensive though.
And while 100% agree there is no right way or timeframe how and when to grieve I think if you are not feeling better this is a time to seek for help so I hope she will continue.
I hope she finds peace, Allan too ❤

Maybe it's her upbringing and therapy is seen as a sign of weakness.
Doesn't seem like she even sought help for her mom's death.

She did. She mentioned changing her therapist, counselor or doctor to one specialising in grief a few months after her mother's death. She mentioned having a healthcare provider again when she told them she was pregnant and the healthcare provider was happy for her.

She probably thinks grieving is her way of remembering and holding onto her dead baby. I think all the weird things she does like laying out baby clothes every night is fine as long as she has other things going on in her life and her grief is not negatively impacting her life.

That's good for her then.

In the new video itself, she quickly touched on how her grief for her mother "coincided" "with something like depression" and then how a therapist explained to her the difference between the two. So she's not against therapy and medication at all.

Interestingly she kept using "we" when she was discussing her grief, extending it to Alen as well.

I honestly think that what would help her more than therapy or medication is having a project or purpose to fill her days and focus her thoughts.

It feels like she doesn't want to get through her grief

I agree that a combination of therapy & work/project would be good.

from what she has been showing us so far feels like she is full time grieving, that’s the only thing she does.
No, it would magically not made her feel great, but lack of purpose/goals makes you dwell on life and your situation.
And if she is grieving to the point she can’t work at all then yes, I believe medications could help stand on the feet ( speaking from personal experience).
She is seeking help which is amazing, really is, but still I got her monologue as being so defensive that she doesn’t have mental health issues- but if you can’t function really then seems to me it is a mental health issue caused by loss of beloved. Nothing unusual or shameful to struggle after the loss. Hopefully she has a good therapist that will point her in the right direction.

Is she purposefully spelling grief wrong?!

I really want to know how Alan is holding up. The guy seems so patient, and it must be tough to grieve himself while also being a supportive partner. He’s always seemed a little aloof or annoyed with the camera, so it’s got to be an extra drain these days.

I noticed today she had set her Instagram account to private - or maybe she's just blocked me, I don't know. I do worry about her but Alan more as I'm suspecting he's having to suppress a lot of his grief in order to be able to fulfil his work responsibilities.

I feel in many ways that Eva hasn't accepted her loss. I know from when I lost my daughter's twin, the pain increased terribly Ince I accepted she had gone, but only then did I start to heal.

Alen doesn't believe in crystals, signs, angels etc so I wonder how he responds to Eva relying on those things. On the one hand he's letting her cope in her own way while also (sadly) having to cope with the limited understanding of how this affects men.

she made it private or blocked both of us ;)

I wonder how she is doing?
Instagram was at least an outlet, now that's gone and so is her YouTube it seems.

Yeah I can still see her Instagram, she hasn't been actively posting on it for a while though.

I think her insta might be private but I'm a follower. She said she is doing a phased return to work kind of thing. Hope that works out for her. The loss of her mother and her child must be so hard. I imagine she didn't really deal with the loss of her mother fully at the time and was focusing on her pregnancy. I always really liked her as a content creator and person. She always stayed true to herself.

I don't follow her, it's public though.

I’m glad she’s going back to work. It will be hard but ultimately I think it will be good to have a focus, after the unimaginable losses of the past few years.
