What really bugs me about the perception of Cassie is that everyone is so on her betraying Maddie. We know Nate is shit, but he is f****** his friend's ex and no one seems to care or make a big deal out of it.
i've always hated herYes you have to wonder if Kat’s character development or lack of is down to her pissing off the director as rumoured. Actually hated her in this episode…. Poor Ethan
Exactly. It’s a load of shite. This thread talks about it
The episode 8 leaks aren’t true. Reviewers were only shown up to episode 7, so any information online is false as no-one has watched it yet.In the teaser for next weekit shows Kat with Ethan and people have said she has more to do this episode so I guess that will be resolved earlier
alsothere were leakers on twitter that said
-Nate has a redemption arc and gets the DVD of his dad and Jules from Maddy, giving it to Jules
- Lexi’s play is I think the finale they said and Fez/Ashtray have another police raid as Faye ratted them out to save herself and her bf. It’s said that Ashtray dies and Fez doesn’t make it to Lexi’s play
- Gia, Rue’s sister, is taken by trafficking people after being mistaken for Rue in the finale?
this is all from twitter as I say so could probably be BS but with the way the season is going I can see it happening!
And the scenes she was in were bizzare - like the one of her and him at the restaurant when she dumped him?! So weird!!!!The amount she was in it last season, they could feasibly just never mention her again tbh. I don’t think anyone would really notice. There weren’t really any major storylines that would be left hanging involving her.
it all seemed a lot more aimless before Episode 5. a Rue centric episode but definitely a catalyst for bringing things together. which only reinforces my thoughts that this whole series is inspired a lot by the film Magnolia - a personal favourite of mine.Anyone else super disappointed with how it's going so far? I feel like there's been so many sub plots just abandoned or rushed, and with one episode left idk where its going at all
I loved the school play!!!! Ethan is a legend!!!!
Is Cassie really not seeing how obviously gay Nate is? Really??
i have to admit i suspend my disbelief on this and the school just letting Lexi run wild on the play.I’d like to know how big the budget was for the play. From some of the sets, I’d say it was equivalent to the budget of Titanic.
handmaid’s tale is a perfect example. it’s all set up to look amazing and have great scenes, but the actual plot just meanders all over the place. it’s similar to peaky blinders, which has completely random music video walking scenes in it. it looks great, it’s incredibly stylish, the performances are good but when you break it down - what’s the actual plot?Yes definitely, Handmaid's Tale is another one where it just does what it wants and doesn't really care what the audience thinks as they know people will still watch anyway.
exactly this! how did lexi even get to the stage without at least one teacher looking over it? who was running the rehearsals? who arranged the ridiculous stage revolve that no high school would ever be able to afford? i know you have to suspend belief to a point but it’s ridiculous.I mean, it’s been a long time since I was at school and I live in the U.K. rather than America, but surely the play would have had to have been run past an adult at some point before they got to perform it? I don’t think it would have even gotten to the casting stage in this country as it would be seen as a form of bullying because the characters are so obviously based on real pupils (obviously I know that this is where suspension of disbelief comes into play, but still…).
