the more i read about this show behind the scenes the more i think it’s eventually going to go up in flames. there have been, what, four actresses now saying they had to directly ask not to have so many nude scenes - two of those were on their actual first days on set too! i know we’ve mentioned it before but sam levison really needs a writers room; giving him full control is a Bad Idea.





the stuff with angus makes me anxious about internet fandom tbh. anyone can say anything about anyone, usually a famous younger guy, and it spreads. like hol20x says, one of 5SOS went through it, a girl faked messages between herself and tom felton. it’s scary.

I didn’t like the latest episode. Way too much music scenes and not enough plot. I don’t need 10 aesthetic scenes where people are crying with flowers around them in just one episode. These scenes don’t take the plot any further.

same! the whole show is beautiful to look at, but it really just looks like a music video and is obviously designed for fans to put beautiful artwork on tumblr (especially cassie in the flowers like you said).

sam levison really needs to be reigned in at times; it goes just all vibes with no actual furthering to the plot.

The scene in the school bathroom was superb - great to see those characters together. So well acted, the dialogue about the oaklahoma misunderstanding and Cassie’s ‘confession’

Love the rare scenes when the girls are together. One of my friends forgot they were friends and was like "wait, they all know each other?"
Who I really miss is BB/Barbara, the one who hangs out with Maddy/Cassie/Kat in season 1 and vapes all the time haha. Where is she?

Thought I was the only one disappointed in the finale, what a shit show! they did not care at all to tell each story properly. I was more intrigued by Cassie and Maddie's fight and that literally got dusted away! Fez and Ashtray's story line got dusted away too! Nate had a gun locked and loaded and was drinking and driving but somehow ends up calling the police to arrest his dad like where did that even come from? it then went back to the play and Rue's dad's wake which didn't make any sense to the finale... they went over that again and again, like you all said we all seen it.

I wanted to see more of Nate and Cassie which we didn't, Fez and Lexi too. There was no excitement leading up to season 3 and by the time we all get to watch it it won't be as exciting anymore. Im so underwhelmed!

I think she’s grooming her. I’m not sure if it’s a sexual thing yet but there’s something going on there.

i thought it was a seeing a younger version of herself in Maddy kind of thing. like that reference to Maddy leaving her life behind for something better, and that involved quitting her job? (what was that conversation about on the benches?)

I kept hoping Faye’s conscience would get the better of her and she would give them the heads up. Are the police going to be outside or what!? Why hasn’t he turned up at Lexi’s show!

Cassie’s crazy face at the very end when Nate dumps her, what’s going to happen to Rue over the money, is the storyline over the rich woman Maddie babysits for going anywhere etc.

So many loose ends to tie up in the finale….

Faye really is that gormless, i’m not surprised she stayed quiet.

clearly the rich woman has seen Maddy trying on her stuff if she gave her that dress, and doesn’t mind that she uses her house and stuff?

Loved having Rue’s narration back, good to see it back to a more normal flow of an episode again after the last couple.

Liked Nate more this episode- despite him still being properly unhinged and scary!!! Maddy made a copy of that disc, am I right?

Want to see Fexi get it on! They are so sweet!!!!

Cassie in great form again - Sydney Sweeney is fantastic in this role!

Wasn't Fez meant to die in the first series then they writer changed his mind?

Apparently so. I’ve seen somewhere he was supposed to die at the end of this series as well, but they changed their minds right at the last minute.

I don’t mind Cassie so much, but I’ve had enough of Nate. People are saying this was his redemption arc but I can’t see it. He might have shopped his dad and given Jules the DVD back but he also threatened Maddie with a gun. I hope she shoots him in the balls next season and gets away with it.

So we get Elliott serenading Rue for what feels like 2 hours but we don’t get to find out what happened with Laurie and the money Rue owed? ETA; what was Cal arrested for?

Yes I agree. I felt this all season that they frequently gave way too much time over to not important scenes. I was willing that bloody song to be over so we could get back to the good stuff! As nice and all a singer he is

Zendaya singing on a couple of the tracks this episode. Is there anything she can’t do ?

I enjoyed the last episode, less music, more plot.
But there are 3 episodes left, right? Im wondering how they will solve every story, they put up at the first episodes:
- Kat who’s unhappy with Ethan
- Lexi and Fez (how can they start it at the first episode and still not showing any plot if it again?!)
- The thing some dude told fez about that we couldn’t hear
- the meaning of the drug addict girl who lives at Fez
- what will happen to Nate’s dad
- what will happen to Cassie and Nate and MAddy
- what will maddy do with the CD with cal and Jules in it
- what will happen to Jules and rue
- what will the woman with the case full of drugs do bc rue couldn’t gives her the 5k

Did I miss anything? There are still so many stories they opens unfinished, no idea how they will manage to answer all of them in just 3 episode. But I hope they will!

-Nate has a redemption arc and gets the DVD of his dad and Jules from Maddy, giving it to Jules
- Lexi’s play is I think the finale they said and Fez/Ashtray have another police raid as Faye ratted them out to save herself and her bf. It’s said that Ashtray dies and Fez doesn’t make it to Lexi’s play
- Gia, Rue’s sister, is taken by trafficking people after being mistaken for Rue in the finale?

same! as much as i like this show, it is sometimes devoid of joy - i’ve liked their (very few!) scenes because there’s a genuine sweetness there that’s missing from the rest. i really hope we get more of them soon! i feel like things are about to go Very Bad for fez though
