This is a very cool ad. Takes dedication and she must have had an interest to begin with, but deffo a paid partnership all the same, so takes the sheen off it a little for me

This series man. I think the writers overdid it, they tried too many storylines with too many characters and it kinda felt empty and unanswered, there was sooo much more to explore/develop!
Like we all wanted a Maddy/Nate convo and never got it, what happened to Maddy in the timehop with Alamo, what’s going on with her and Bishop? Why did Bishop do what he did? What’s happening with Jules - she was barely in it. What’s Cassie going to do now? What happened to all the gangsters? How long can she pretend Nate has just disappeared! What about his family? What happened to the DEA, did the cops go after Ali? What happened to Faye and the nazi? I get some has been left open to viewer interpretation but come on!
Also Rue, heartbreaking but we knew it was coming, it was the full circle moment. Sad that people thought she relapsed and I suppose she kinda did, but again that’s real life addiction, how many people have said one won’t hurt. Her ending was probably the most realistic and that’s why it hurt so much!

I agree, messy series. I do hope season 3 ties some loose ends up. Surely the shit with Laurie cannot be forgotten.
I'll be happy if I never see Nate or Cassie again. Totally ruined it for me. Cassie got on my nerves. Highlight of last episode was the slap off Maddy.

exactly! rue’s episode was so harrowing and so dark and then………… nothing happened with it? and she didn’t mention fez in that final “i stay clean” thing at all, so when is this meant to be happening? even if all that time passed are we meant to believe laurie never tried something with her? she’s a teenager and laurie is the big leagues apparently.
it’s the most basic teenager stuff that’s the most involving to me tbh. the maddy/cassie thing seems to be the only storyline with an actual payoff this series. the noise cassie’s head made when it hit the wall!

me neither! and does it mean they’ll never really address the locked doors in laurie’s house? or the camera watching maddy? but then everyone seemed to forget about cassie’s abortion despite that being a big part of the series one finale, so i fully expect it will never be mentioned again

I don't really rate Sydney Sweeney but then I've only seen her in this and Handmaids Tale. She just seems a bit doe eyed and not much else acting wise!

THIS. The laurie one bugs me specially because we ended up in "I stay clean for the rest of the school year". I'm not sure when in time the play takes place, but it seems like it's been some time since all the Laurie stuff and NOTHING happens?!
For the rest of the episode, the only story lines I was ok with were: Rue and Lexi getting closer again, Maddy telling Cassie that this is just the beginning.
I was invested in Fexi and wonder what will happen. Only logical thing would be that Lexi writes about Fezco's life.

Drake wasn’t one of the script writers on the show. He’s barely even an executive producer in the traditional sense from reading various articles about the show.
also - the actors on the show are all adults. Professional actors. Acting. They aren’t underage.
