I understand that Eugenia has to want to get better in order for treatment to work. However, she is an adult and living this lifestyle because she's able to live in her parents' house and not worry about a job or university responsibilities and all the regular stuff most of us have to deal with. If her parents cared, they should sit her down, tell her how much they love and support her and acknowledge how hard it is, but that unless she agrees to some kind of treatment they are no longer going to support her illness by giving her internet access, taking her photo for Instagram, etc. Even though there is no equivalent to a 5150 in CT, I believe that someone can go before a judge and declare her unfit to care for herself and ask for guardianship - if that is the case, why aren't her parents doing that? Sure, she'll be angry as hell and try to resist but I just don't understand how they aren't taking extreme measures. Maybe they have tried all of these things but it doesn't seem like anything is being done.
