I've worked in the fashion industry for a long time and fast fashion definitely adds to so much waste, I have friends who buy and sell second hand and they really actually like it, I just don't shop a lot, I'm a weirdo lol. Oddly I buy more books than new clothes. At work I have the option of taking a lot of free clothing home and what's left is donated to various charities and honestly I'd leave almost all of it to be donated, I have enough, some people have nothing. To each their own but calling it 'eww' adds to the stigma about buying secondhand, but we really should try to dismantle that because it's so much more sustainable. My friend works in a charity shop and honestly most of the things that arrive look like they've never/barely been worn. Just food for thought sorry to get off topic
