i am from london and work in the wedding industry but i have never worked directly with her nor met her. but there is talk amongst photographers and asian brands that she is difficult to work with and acts just as spoiled in person. there's rumours that she cannot take any criticism, and that it is especially why her twitter is not a huge account. she gets dragged by the sikhs on twitter a lot because they see how performative she is. a few years ago she tried to sell some gurbani necklaces in collaboration with a muslim jeweller and there was talk in the industry that she was crying to photographers about the backlash she was getting from sikh twitter for trying to capitalise gurbani like that. there are many stories like this in the industry about her

if i ever met her i really would just straight up ask her why she does not have any shame lying to her audience like she does and trying to profit off of them so much.

i also don't doubt that she was catty towards kavita and harneet in real life. she mostly made tik toks with kavita when kavita was in no makeup, hair up, sweats - clearly there to do her job and get work done. but erim in full makeup hair done and skimpy outfits makes kavita stand in the background of her tik toks (most of the time you could tell kavita very quickly learned the dance moves and hasn't been practicing night and day like erim) and it's clear she does it to make herself look better in the videos. with harneet, anytime anyone ever commented saying harneet looks pretty in erim's tik toks, or asking for harneet's tik tok @ to follow, erim would ignore the comment and like/comment on the rest of the comments that were only praising her. she has a very immature, bitter heart and it seeps through.

i follow harneet on ig bc i think she deserves a lot of support considering anytime erim looked good, it was thanks to harneet! we all know erim's only hairstyle is flat and straight, but harneet was coming through with all of the fun braids and curls for her. it is nice to see harneet's page grow and i wish her so much success!!

I can't say who I am, but I know from first hand this is true. I'm so so glad that you're all seeing her true colours and it honestly makes me so happy. The fact that you've literally analysed her tiktoks like this proves that its not just us that were thinking these things about her. I've worked with her through her shoots as well and you couldn't be more right about these assumptions.

She's as straight as it goes, she only pops her hips out when pictures are taken. Pop and twist.

YOU ARE SPOT ON. She is EXTREMELY difficult to work with and believes that she does not come across that way, but she is. ANYONE that criticises her or dares to tell her she's wrong, best believe she will come down on you like a ton of bricks.

She talks about "sis this" and "sis that" but she's faaaaar from a supportive girl. The things she says about others are honestly unfathomable. You can see that she would leave Harneet and Kavita in the background of her tiktoks on purpose because it's all about her, nothing genuine about her. Harneet does deserve A LOT more credit because at the end of the day it's clearly her employees that build her and her business up and NOT her. Believe me i know.

Erim is the fakest influencer out there. She lives a fake life and believes she's the queen of the world and anyone can see that. She makes people around her feel 'privileged' to be around her just because she's ERIM and when things don't go her way, she'll cut you off like you never knew her. It's disgusting

and yeah i so agree, i think she only continues to grow because of the allure. she has done a great job at creating a false image on social media. but once people start following for a while, they notice the inconsistencies in her stories and more people are starting to see through it. i knew her online before she actively started pursuing being an influencer so i saw a lot of the lies she has told over the years. i don't see her career lasting at all honestly. the only reason her page is still growing is because of brown girls following her and wanting to support successful girls (before they realise it's all a scam) and guys who want to get in her pants - that's the main audience she targets. but at least singhs are starting to wake up too now. especially since she tried to capitalise off the story of the boy who got bullied. that caused a lot of singhs to be upset. kesh is not a marketing point. but she wouldn't care about that.

i don't see her "career" lasting long. even the brands she works with aren't that great. the handbags she carries are either basic or weird (sorry but that gucci bag is majorly weird, money can't buy you taste or class babes.) her sense of style is absolutely terrible and she really knows nothing about beauty and has no tips to give to her audience. she will be irrelevant soon, there's tons of girls who are creating such great content but aren't growing as fast because they're not posting bait vides every day on tik tok and instagram. but once other girls start to get more popular, she will quickly become very irrelevant.

Honestly I just want to see influencers with genuine motives and have people that DESERVE to have the following they do. She's just capitalising off of her following and that's all.

Same here, I’m glad I’m not the only one who has experienced all this. In my opinion she has form of Narcissistic Personality Disorder but that’s for a psychiatrist to diagnose, not me. All I know is her behaviour was (and sounds like still is) extremely abnormal. Nobody deserves to be treated as inferior.

Tbf I think most of her behaviour comes from not having a mum. She probably feels so hard done by and that only she is the only person to have lost a parent. She clearly hasn’t dealt with her trauma from her childhood and it’s turned her into a narc, constantly thinking she deserves the respect and loyalty off everyone without giving any in return, and thinking that everyone is against her for giving constructive criticism. I think seeing a therapist would genuinely help her become a better person

i'm so glad you guys have found this thread and can share your experiences with her, it validates what my intuition has been telling me for so long now.

there is a difference between hate and trolls online, people who just want to make girls feel bad about themselves online. but this is not what this thread is mostly. people have tried to provide valid criticism and feedback to erim for what seems like years now and she victimises herself over all of it instead of growing up and actually growing and learning.

i'm so shocked about this but also kind of not? i always found it so rude and offensive that she makes it seem like she has been raised by wolves since she doesn't have a mum. like you can see she has been spoiled by her entire family but she has the nerve to not appreciate any of them and just cry about how she can't even go to the mall because she doesn't have a mum. girl what... you are 26. ur mum wouldn't have been taking you shopping and picking out your clothes for you at this age anyway??

i think getting off social media would help her become a better person. not in a hating or snarky way at all, but genuinely. it seems like she doesn't know how to interact with people in the real world because of this made up world she created about herself on social media. of course i didn't know her before but from early days before she had like 5/10k followers, she seemed more down to earth. now you can tell she doesn't know how to have any real relationships, or make real connections offline. everything is a show for her. if she deleted her socials and focused on understanding her personal values and a career that's more behind the scenes and humble, it would be much better for her growth as a decent human being. right now all she cares about is money, that's not a way to live at all.

also just want to point out that i find it hilarious that she has been saying for nearly two years that she wants byerim in selfridges and asking selfridges reps to email her to get it done but it hasn't happened. it's even listed on linkedin (from back in 2019 LOL) that it was developed specifically to be sold at harrods and selfridges i have seen influencers launch products and get it on retailers' shelves in 30 days with less hype than she gives her oil. i don't think her brand has any longevity at all, from a marketing & branding perspective. i can put money on seeing all of the leftover stock at tk maxx within the next few years. no offence at all to anyone in this thread who has spent their money on it

I don’t think she could ever leave and work for someone else, it feels like she doesn’t like being told what to do and I think that’s why when influencing fell into her lap it was the only thing. This is what happens when you get spoilt too much. I genuinely feel sorry because how have your dadi, masi etc helped raise you and you claim you didn’t know anything. I don’t know how it feels to lose a parent so I won’t even comment but still being so aggressive and touchy when someone simply mentions your mum is weird?
