I’m not sure but I don’t think we should judge people based on their ‘innocence’ or their sex life- that’s quite private
I mean definitely, no one should ever judge someones sex life, but ERIM acts like shes such an innocent SIKH! she definitely puts this pious holier than thou image before her audience on a DAILY basis... sex before marriage is against sikhi lol now i know people can be devoted to sikhi while having sex before marriage which is fine if youre in a relationship but sleeping around town is definitely against sikhi, and erim is always out and about in clubs and environments that give off that vibe so i wouldnt be too surprised
I agree with you, sex should only be spoken about if someone wants to. Sadly in the brown community girls who present themselves as more 'innocent' garner brownie points from the community even if they aren't 'innocent'. Which is why Erims whole marketing strategy is innocent indian sikh girl, she does this by saying her dad goes everywhere with her, by saying she only believes in modest dress but wearing at times revealing/provocative clothes and lastly, by saying she doesn't have a boyfriend but she does - the list can go on. Whilst I dont think anyone should judge on innocence, it is the reality of the desi/brown community for women, and I dont think it's healthy that influencers like Erim perpetuate this ideology rather than go against it.

I hope erim sees this. It actually baffles me that influencers like erim went to Dubai during a pandemic and got away with it. I know it was allowed but since then, covid cases in Dubai have increased by 50%. I don’t understand why 1) she needed to promote a HAIR OIL all the way in Dubai , 2) Why she would be stupid enough to go during a pandemic- yes it may be for ‘work’ but it’s still a holiday and 3) Why she even needed to be in Dubai when she can literally work from home in her bed
