It's pissed me off that people like Egrim - who were born into affluence, have a supportive family and a father who stepped in to fill the roles of both parents - insist on glamourising things like struggle, poverty, and a hard life, when she has no idea what it's like. If you grow up poor or without secure housing, you won't have spare money to eat out all the time because you can't afford basic groceries or rent as government help money often isn't enough to go beyond the basics. She ate out all the time because her father could afford it; not because they were poor. It's always been cheaper to eat at home than out - anyone in any country knows that - and how on earth can she be saying this utter tit at a time where there is a cost of living crisis in many countries??
