the YouTube video mentions loosely welfare of horse, happiness of horse, my horse isn't a competition horse , my horse isn't here to make money...hes a pet , I want his happiness first... plus she's learning to jump
yeah i noticed a few comments too from her that i thought were hinting at certain things... and strange how no one has said that they will miss her etc, or a goodbye post etc. Strange
It makes me laugh when they say they won’t be answering questions as they want to keep their channel a positive place. There isn’t any need to make that comment if it was all fine, surely? Just say that the new yard is closer and has all day turnout which would suit you both better?
I don’t actually mind ones where there has been a good partnership with the influencer and the brand and said influencer wears their kit etc on a regular basis (and clearly likes it), but I have a problem with influencers jumping on the bandwagon of giveaways with brands that they have never used before but for the sake of the giveaway pretend they “live in this coat/top/breeches!” Etc etc.
It’s great to use platforms to give back to your viewers, but it’s irritating when brands appear that they have never used before and wouldn’t be endorsing or wearing had they not been given a load of free stuff from them.

The constant ad after ad after ad is too much for me.
I also seriously dislike the ‘share to win’ competition’s on everyone’s stories too.

I was surprised when scarlet did the yard tour before Ellie!
As much I loved Ellie’s yard tour, and think it’s actually incredible. I don’t think the horses get a lot of chance to be horses.Think Ellie treats all horses as competition horses. If you see her livery full competition she basically rides them herself. Maybe she wasn’t happy with the way Ellie was training them.

I reckon there has been a fall out and some bad blood.... also sounds like scarlet wasn't happy re winter turnout pens.... maybe the horse played her up too much... I agree horses need grass ideally. Ive seen first hand another top competitor use sand pens for winter turnout.. The comp horses wrapped in cotton wool and can't really be a typical horse who might injure in field or pull shoes off in mud..

I just skip past ad it’s mostly share to story. My instagram is private so they won’t see it. All they are interested in is accounts with lots of followers and thats not me so no point in even entering.
I see there are more posts about missing Rio with the comments turned off/restricted. I wonder what the factual story is as they was screen shots of a Facebook advert for the horse so she must have know he was advertised. But the horse belongs to her until she receives the money doesn’t it? But I would assume the police say it’s a civil matter and to take whoever to the small claims court to get the money for him.

yup. Imagine paying £300+ a WEEK to keep your horse on livery and it doesn’t even go in a bloody field all winter.
I’ve been on a yard that doesn’t do winter turnout apart from a leg stretch in one of the schools. Never again!
Yeah I will never livery at a place where there is not all year turnout. It is so important for a horses physical and mental health to go out and graze. Imagine having to stand in a 10x12 or 12x12 box for 23 hours a day? I had a young horse on box rest for 8 weeks and spent many hours with him or making enrichment for him as I felt so awful that he was stuck inside. I tried a stable size turnout pen but the bugger broke out so had to go back in his stable. He was very well behaved otherwise so I was very proud of him but it must have been crap!
TotAlly agree hope she looses a load of followers for that.
If I where a company that sponsored her the sponsorship would have been revoked. I wouldn’t want to be associated with a spoilt little madam wanting more then what she has. I’d rather support someone who appreciates what they have.
