Just seen country grandeur doing ‘daily stretches’ with Andy.. using food for stretches is a massive no no as horses will likely over extend themselves for treats, they’re not like people where they can think ‘no that’s too far for me’, and that tail stretch she’s doing (wrong angle) is so dangerous for someone who isn’t qualified?? She could so easily dislocate his tail, why would she show that?

I’d understand being defensive if she was being trolled but I’ve only read (so far, haven’t been on this thread long) posts with genuine questions about her, not exactly trolling.

Professionally, I don’t think your chiropractor should be giving you any sort of exercises to do unless you are trained to do them, plus it’s a physio he needs if stretching and muscles are concerned? Is a mint lick also not food too? 😂 honestly she reminds me of a girl I used to work with and when a trainer tried to correct her jumping position she told all of us ‘this is how they ride in the olympics’ while riding a school master around a shed in the middle of nowhere jumping poles barely off the ground, had an excuse for everything!

That’s all well and good as your vet obviously can judge that you’re capable but you’re also not broadcasting it to thousands of followers who might think that’s a good idea and try copy you, and the first thing I learned in my job was never teach clients the stretches you’re doing because they could do a lot of damage without realising it when they don’t recognise the points of flexion/natural extension in a horse, which is also harder to spot in problem areas.

The second thing was to never use food as an incentive, it’s obviously easier but horses don’t have the same sense that people do so when it comes to food it’s very easy to over extend themselves for a treat and end up doing more damage. Loads of people do it and your vet obviously trusts that you know what you’re at but in my job it’s not recommended. Then again on your own horse it is completely different than working with a clients horse that you don’t know.

so going back to the point I was trying to make before you went on a CDJ rampage... are men on horsey socials literally gaining a following because they have a pen? honestly, I don’t rate Matt Harnacke or that half step boy, let alone Hughes. and ash the half steps friend doesn’t even ride!thoughts!

The only one I know of is Matt Harnacke and although he is obviously a nice rider and is very good looking, I don’t think of him as much of an influencer or entertaining to watch. I used to watch him way back in the beginning but haven’t done for a long time. His PRE’s are very pretty though, I must say.

It wasn’t even a cdj rampage it was a spoiled brat being bought a 5 million pony chat just to clarify.

like yes you’re a guy in a female dominant discipline (sort of not really) but it cannot be a personality trait PLS

Been told today by someone in the know ( is horsey and works for someone closely connected) that Pumpkin was sold to Annabella for 8million!

If that's true then Jesus Christ 🙈🤣 that's crazy money!!

I'm a little dubious on that price tag myself but they seemed very sure!

I'm not doubting Pumpkin is a brilliant horse, but surely a good part of his medal winning is credited to Charlotte who is a bloody fantastic rider who could make a donkey look Grand Prix level? I don't think anyone could get on him and automatically become an Olympic medalist? Surely for that money you'd be better off buying a youngster with incredible movement (which still go for a fortune) and producing yourself? Just my two pence.

I agree but then a 16 year old may not know how to produce a horse of that calibre and so it could turn out very badly. I guess if you have the money then why the hell not buy him, an Olympic medalist horse as your ride means you are highly likely to be selected to ride for team GB for under under 21/25’s and Charlotte must think she is capable enough. I’m looking forward to seeing the partnership grow and see what horses Charlotte brings in next.

The family also bought a medal winning eventer awhile ago for the sister too.
Yes if you go onto charlottes post on Instagram you can see which horse was bough. Another little spoiled brat with a ready bought horse. It’s clear on that post they made Charlotte an offer she couldn’t refuse. How sad.

Lily equestrian anyone?
Only followed her for a short time and never met her, but have heard about a lot of drama between her and Jess.Eq from people that know them.

Everyone is saying Jess sold her Inky knowing already that he had navicular disease and hid it from her. It would make sense as they were best friends for years and then suddenly unfollowed each other right after Inky’s diagnosis. friends of Lily’s have also made some comments hinting to it on instagram lives.

Not surprised that she wasn’t an honest seller- she sold her other horse Goofy as a ‘great first horse’ to a poor girl who looks far too inexperienced for him and the reason Jess sold him in the first place was because they were getting eliminated and she was getting chucked off!! Watched the new owner get eliminated on him at Aintree in the 90 and can’t help but feel sorry for the girl getting lumbered with someone elses problem

Interesting to see Ben Maher get married again…. To another woman 👀👀👀
Know lots of drama about. Word amongst the grooms is he was quite abusive to his wife, as well as not faithful etc. Got off with a teenage girl in the pub at hickstead this year. Seems like the online facade is just a mask he hides behind

Wait wait wait so that’s why Ben and Emma’s marriage ended?? With what Ben posts online and the way him and Emma seemed around one another I’m SHOCKED to read that which is so upsetting?? Makes me think a lot because he does seem to come across so lovely? I know there can be gossip about people etc but I’d imagine no one would really make up that he’s been abusive towards his wife, so if true that’s horrible. She seems like a lovely woman and nobody deserves that. Abusive and unfaithful, that’s disgraceful. If he did get with a girl at hickstead that’s bloody awful because there’s no way in hell he could think he wouldn’t be caught out??
