She has such a huge victim complex that she’s out here villainizing the people who support her and give her money and attend her shows. Even though that person was still being way too nice to her in the process I’m still glad he was willing to tell her “I’m someone who gives you money and supports you and that song is a fond memory for the few people still left in your community, so knock it off”. Jeez, imagine how much she’s get done in a day if she cut out all the time she victimizes herself and searches up her own name so she can find something to get herself worked up over.

Hey everyone, I've been lurking for a while but finally decided to post. I used to watch Emma's videos around 7 or 8 years ago but she lost me when her content started to become inconsistent, she couldn't decide whether she wanted to be a beauty guru, vlogger or gamer, it was exhausting keeping up with her. So eventually she fell off my radar up until last year when I remembered her and looked her up to see what she was up to and oh boy, I wasn't prepared for it.
I've honestly never seen anyone change their entire personality and style so drastically and regularly, it's all obviously to impress her boyfriend. I find it so immature because it's the sort of thing I would do as a teenager to impress some guy. Emma is not a teenager, she is nearly 30 years old. Why on earth is she changing herself to please some dishonest man-child?
It also drives me nuts how after every style change she claims it's the real her, I feel it's insulting to people who have been part of an alternative subculture for many years whereas she just latched onto a superficial version of goth suddenly and knows nothing about the music.
Also her rudeness towards her fanbase is shocking, surely wouldn't someone trying to make it in the already tough music industry want to encourage people to support her/buy her music? She's just alienating whatever fans she has left even further.

Hello, long time lurker on here (and guru gossip).
Thought I'd throw my two cents in with the things going on recently. I stopped supporting Emma Blackery a long time ago, I was already losing interest in 2018 but still gave her the benefit of the doubt, and went to see her on tour... the m&g was a shit experience because it seemed like she just wanted to get everyone out of the way. Like yes, pay me money for my time but I'm not even going to put effort in towards being nice to you. I can't imagine her ever actually going out of her way to be kind to people who support her, for free, if she can't even put any effort in for m&g's . I've seen Tessa Violet taking pictures with fans in the queue before a concert and she was so sweet. With Emma, I just get the worst vibes. Not like she has many fans left, but I can guarantee that the small amount that are there will eventually get tired of her bullshit.
I was also part of the fandom which was a fucking mess and one of the most toxic communities I've ever been a part of. I still remember some of the people and I think I might have an idea of who she was talking about.
The way she has been treating her fans has been getting on my nerves and it is the reason why I stopped fully supporting her. I don't even know where to bloody start if I'm honest...
She's either rude or she gets overly involved. She's always had a problem of being unprofessional and trying to get too close to fans. I kind of see it as a manipulation tactic to get people to stay supporting her. I assume that's why shit has hit the fan recently and what the drama is about from the lurking I've done.
When you think about it, these youtubers, influencers or whatever you want to call them, hold so much power. If someone you idolised and was a fan of gave you an opportunity to have close contact such as talking via DMs, you'd take it... Especially as a young, easily manipulated and impressionable teen (what most of her fans are). If she was a male youtuber, people would be cancelling her. It's truly odd to not have any connections with people your age. This is what really rubs me off the wrong way... You'd think that any professional person wouldn't try to become friends with a fan. She knows that there is a power dynamic and there is absolutely no way this would work. Who knows how much a person would let her get away with until they snap...
As with her playing the victim and starting drama... I don't understand how it can be a good look. The way she was trying to contact an actual celebrity to "warn" her about an ex-fan? Honestly beyond pathetic and embarassing on her part and I hope she realises that. She's old enough to not get involved with petty bullshit, but it's Emma Blackery so we aren't surprised. I'd also like to add that the stalking issue has been something that she does. It's so weird and obsessive. For "security measures" my ass, nobody knows who you are love, you barely even get anyone replying to your tweets unless it's attention seeking
From that message... the fan was just trying to peacefully offer becoming civil. I don't care what beef you have, I don't care what happened... this is a personal matter you shouldn't drag everyone else into. Don't make it public, block and move on or discuss the matter privately. How hard is it?
I don't think she'll ever grow out of this victim mentality and that she's never in the wrong. We've seen this happen over the years again and again. She really needs to go to therapy. But of course, a person who thinks they're always right and always the victim will never take any steps to better themselves. She's a fucking hypocrite because she goes back on her words all the damn time. That's why I have no hope for her, and the reason she has lost so many loyal fans over the years.
She needs to realise that she isn't this big celebrity that she thinks she is and needs to stop being so childish. Only surrounding yourself with your 10 remaining fans who are scared to ever call you out will never get you anywhere. I'm convinced she could do anything and they'd still defend her because they have no self respect

she actually used to be my favrioute YouTube back in the day because I was also the 2edgy4u teenage girl, (I also had a similar situation that I grew up with my dad and an absent mother, it was nice knowing I wasn’t the only one sorta thing). But she’s always stayed there, where all the other girls like her have grown up, gone to work and got a life she’s still circling this teenage girl dream.
i think she got super lucky years ago when YouTube was more lucrative and it’s afforded opportunities to her other women her age haven’t had. Shes been able to afford her own home and sink thousands into personally funding her career. The issue with her music is she can’t sing like the women she wishes she could, she can’t sing like taylor swift or hayley Williams. And that’s not me hating on her because she can sing a damn site better than I can, but I think she needs to pick her gente that suits her voice and range and stick to it.
i agree with whoever it was before who said she should work at composing. I know she wants to be the front woman and perform the shows herself but I think she’d be better stepping back from centre stage. It’d give her the oppertunity to flit around different genres without constantly giving her fan base whiplash.
also ditch the greasy weirdo. I just don’t get how he’s this hot stud that can cheat on his wife and get a new girlfriend. Does he smell? I feel like I can smell him through the screen. You just KNOW that’s why she got stroppy when luke got married. Luke’s not my cup of tea either but he’s pretty cute, he’s clearly worked and got a career, done a degree and now he’s settling down, getting married with someone who also seems pretty lovely. Her relationship didn’t work out with him but you’d still have expected her to end up with someone similar. Daveys not even a throw back to the kinda guy girls thought were cute in 2008.

She’d have earned herself a lot more respect if she’d just been honest and been like “hey it wasn’t an ideal situation, but XYZ happened and if I could have controlled the situation I’d have waited until they’d filed for divorce”.
