I feel so sorry for Teddy, what a horrible start to his little life. It’s so important for a baby’s development to have a mother in good health and able to interact and engage positively with their baby :(

Where are you reading the report?

I heard he took his top off before jumping in to save Trigg?! Surely not!?
It is recommended to remove clothing before entering water to rescue someone who is drowning. He probably had to dive to the bottom of the pool and the top would have only restricted his efforts ☹

I’ve also read the report, honestly makes me feel sick to my stomach . The fact he was treading water and trying to swim for 2 minutes is such a long time for a toddler. It’s so heartbreaking . She was only gone for 20 mins by the time this happened . I don’t think I could forgive either .
Oh my god. That is terrible. That poor little boy.

What a maddening read.
•Malfunctioning door
•Alarms to alert that a door has been opened not in use
•No pool fence
•A kidkatcher net that wasn’t put back on after use
•The cover wasn’t put on after use
•Repeated warnings from their followers about the need for a pool fence
•Both parents knew that Trigg couldn’t swim
•An absolute loser of a husband who was more focused on the match than his unsupervised 3 year old
•A kid who can’t swim but valiantly used whatever he had learned from his swimming lessons to fight for his life for 2 whole minutes
•A cluttered pool area full of toys which not only attracts the 3 year old, but also caused him to trip and fall into the pool area
•Many safety features but none of them in use, which is the whole point of putting them in.
Pure laziness on the part of both parents and the father should absolutely be charged.

I never understood when people said before the report that Brady is being punished enough by what happened due to Trigg passing away. If it was him that was looking after him regardless of the circumstances he should have been charged imo

The report is so incriminating. I didn't expect Brady to have not watched Trigg outside whatsoever and then to have lied so much. Wow.
I hope this serves as a lesson to others that it doesn't matter if your child knows not to enter the pool without you, accidents happen and an uncovered pool is a bleeping death trap.

Kids will be kids also. You could tell them something until you’re blue in the face and they’ll still do it. Not suggesting Trigg did that but he should have been supervised. End of. 10 minutes without knowing where your toddler is? What?!

I've just read this online, and what a horrifying story. That poor poor boy. We went on holiday once and the rental had a pool. Even though it was fenced and had a childproof lock, I was obsessive about our toddler grandson and keeping the house doors all locked all the time. I can't understand how the father hasn't been charged, that is pure child neglect. A bloody game more important than his child...

That report is absolutely horrific I don’t know how she can even look at that man.
His son was outside drowning while he was inside watching a sports game and then to lie about it and use the baby as an excuse.
He absolutely should be charged

The report almost read like it was normalised that Trigg played unsupervised outside.
The thing is no matter how much you think your child understands and is aware of what they should and shouldnt do; there are times they shock you.My little boy is 2 days older than trigg and the other week he swallowed a pound coin. I was in the kitchen making him his tea while it happned, I'd left him watching paw patrol after school. He looked like he was falling asleep so I didnt think he would get into too much mischief and so I left him to put the pasta on. I'd only been gone a couple of minutes and he came running into the kitchen crying and telling me what he had done. Obviously I was berating myself for leaving a pound coin out and having a false sense of security that he was out of the 'phase' of putting things in his mouth. I'd totally forgot about the pound coin my mum had put in a card for him doing so well at preschool.😭😭.....and so the fact Brady left him outside unsupervised is actually crazy. Poor Triggz there were so many hazards around. Not only the water, but the many toys that were a slip hazard, the dogs running around, the slippy and hard floor. So many things that could and did go wrong. I really don't understand why he thought it was a good idea to take his eyes off him around such a massive hazard. Would he have left him unattended by a pool on holiday?!!
My heart breaks for them both, they have paid the ultimate price and I cant and don't want to comprehend how it must feel. Brady will forever carry the cross he now has to bear. He must relive those moments all the time and be haunted by that what ifs. I wish I could somehow go back into time and warn them.
I don't even know what to say about Emilie, how do you carry on? How do you mother should newborn while grieving? How do you look at Brady and not blame him?..her whole life has been destroyed and I just hope Teddy brings joy, happiness and healing to them.

I guess we’ll never know what has been redacted in those two pages. I don’t wish to know really either as I suspect it probably is a detailed breakdown of what can be seen on that video footage.
I don’t think there’s necessarily anything concealed in order to protect Brody. As I think the rest of the report is condemning in itself. The lying part is the bit that gets me the most.

He knows. He knows it could have easily been avoided . And he will forever have to live the worse kind of guilt I could ever imagine.
Truely tragic .

I hope she doesn't try and make a social media come back after this. To merch any kind of lifestyle after such a tragedy would be unthinkable, unless it's a very dedicated and focused safety campaign with no advertising/money making behind it.

It’s so hard to even think about but the thing that makes me so mad is that they both knew he couldn’t swim and didn’t put a fence up and don’t even get me started on the pool net not being on, they’re both responsible for that - the minutes it would have taken to put it on and then remove it for the pool service the next day, it’s a pathetic excuse.

they really let that little boy down.

but having read the report how he’s not been charged is beyond me, especially with the lies he told. I’d never be able to come back from that.

They had all the time and money available for swimming lessons and obviously the pool was a massive part of their family life.. so I’m stunned that they didn’t make sure he could swim or at least turn on his back and float.. even then I suppose theres only so long such a small child would be able to support himself if he wasn’t near the steps. He tried so hard to keep himself alive but he was just too little to swim alone for 7 minutes- though he managed for 2.
Makes me sick, Brady literally had no other responsibilities in life- Emilie did it all and it wasn’t like a panicking poor person desperate for money and praying on a winning bet- not that that would be right but they were millionaires living in a mansion ffs and his bet was still the most important thing at that moment.

Brady made a bet on the basketball game about an hour before the drowning, so I guess it showed how invested he was in the game, which was playing at the same time as the incident.

I was watching one of her YouTube videos from when they got the keys to the current house in May 2024 and at the start of it she's in her bedroom and Trigg is out in the living area on his own. Brady wasn't home. Poor baby must have been left unattended as a regular occurrence. 😢

It's also so eerie hearing her talk about how excited they are to have a big back yard and a pool.
