Her desperation to hide certain details of what happened is going to make people’s imaginations go wild with crazy scenarios. I can understand her not wanting the cctv footage/audio made public but what is so damning in that report (other than the obvious of Trigg left alone by the pool) that she’s taking legal action to hide? Unless it’s the sheer amount of time Trigg was in the pool before Brady even checked on him.

Emilie has filed another lawsuit. I wonder what she is trying to hide at this point!? Like, what other details could they be so desperate for the public not to find out? She argues that they don't want the finer details released because people could use them to produce AI reenactments, etc., but (sick as it would be) there are already enough details out there to create a reenactment, if someone was so inclined.
"The public deserves to know the full details and reasoning that led Chandler police to the conclusion that this was one of those rare cases in which criminal charges are justified," Kelley said, adding the public should know those details so they could "evaluate" prosecutors' decision not to charge Brady Kiser."

I'm probably naive but I think she's just wanting her little boy to have some dignity and not become a part of the worlds gossip. This said, doing this creates such gossip. Must be tricky finding the balance.
I know of someone who lost a very young child and the village gossip/conspiracies broke their heart for many years. They'd grieve and then have to go through it again and again because of couch detectives. I cant imagine going through all this with the world watching. Maybe shes just clinging on to a bit of privacy for her son? I'm naive and try to see the best in everyone - Id never heard of this woman pre this heartache so I dont know her character to be fair.

You could be right, but if there was nothing much more to it than what we already know, wouldn't it be better just to be transparent about what happened and put the rumours to bed so that any further speculation could end!? So much has been made public already anyway. I don't know... it just makes me think there's another key detail which hasn't been made public, which led the police to conclude that this was one of those rare cases where criminal charges are justified.
At first Emilie wanted the records sealed because she didn't want to view camera footage etc. and so didn't want them out there in the public domain. Now it seems that isn't going to happen she seeks to redact the written police report because portions of that report could be use to create disturbing content such a AI reenactments...I dunno, seems like she's grasping at straws.
I do feel for her having to worry about this at such a time, but have to say I am intrigued to know what those portions contain because Kelley (the lawyer representing the Arizona Republic) argued that the release of the report without the redactions proposed by Kiser "could help save lives" and "Although drownings of young children in backyard swimming pools are distressingly common here, criminal charges related to such drownings are not so common". What made this case so different to other seemingly similar drownings, I wonder!?
Just read that Trigg was in the pool for seven minutes until he was found and had been unattended for nine minutes. I really hate to be ‘that’ person but what parent leaves a three year old near water for that long 
I don’t think I could get past this if this was my partner to be honest. He played fast and loose with the most precious thing in the world.
I also saw that Emilie won a court order to redact two pages of the report which would have detailed the graphic parts of the end of his life. I think that is a perfectly fair compromise and I really feel for emilie in this total nightmare she couldn’t even have a few hours away with friends due to her husbands incompetence

Oh god I’ve just read the report. I understand accidents happen and they both are responsible for the pool safety (fence or the cover always being on unless swimming) but after reading that I just could never forgive him. That poor little boy

Why on earth was he unsupervised in a pool for 7 minutes! Accidents happen but that was not an accident, I’m not sure how anyone could defend this. I could never forgive my husband but it seems Trigg playing alone by the pool was a normal occurrence for them so Emilie can’t be angry at that behaviour if she used to allow it to happen aswell

I wouldn't be able to stay with my husband after this. Yes, she is also responsible for pool safety and they were both negligent by not having a pool fence, even when pointed out to them a number of times. But to know he let Trigg play outside alone, near the pool, knowing he couldn't swim and didn't watch him for 10 minutes makes me feel sick to my stomach. What if he hadn't spotted the dog behaving oddly?. How much longer would it have been?. I don't buy the "bonding with my newborn" bull, he was obviously watching a game that he had placed a bet on otherwise why couldn't he have fed the baby outside whilst supervising Trigg playing?. Unforgivable.

Just thinking of him trying to swim for 2 whole minutes before he lost his strength and no one came to help him is absolutely heartbreaking
I’ve just read the full police report and I’m in tears. This should’ve never happened. Beautiful baby trigg died so senselessly and it’s absolutely haunting me how frightened he would’ve been in that pool fighting for his life. Emily had barely been gone 15 minutes according to the timings
The "connecting with my newborn baby" line is sickening. As if this exempts him from also keeping an eye on Trigg and trying to come across lile a good Dad when he left his son alone outside unsupervised right next to a pool.

He was watching the basketball game that he'd placed a bet on, it was nothing to do with Teddy. He's using the baby as an excuse.
I hope she divorces him. There is absolutely no way I could stay with him after this.
