I never believe anything I read on the internet.

But that story could have some truth in it. And would explain why there is no simple statement and trying to keep the records private.

All it takes is a few minutes off guard for something tragic to happen

I think if I was a mother and my child died in the hands of their father from a preventable accident I don’t think I’d be able to forgive them, as harsh as that sounds. I just don’t think I could carry on as normal, but that’s just me.

That being said, they both to a point have equal responsibility in this becuase they didn’t install pool fences.

Rumors are that Brady likes to partake in 🍃
I've heard those rumors circulated a few times over the years, but surely he wouldn't while he was watching trigg by himself 💀 I'm starting to think thw rumors about him watching basketball is true what other explanations is there 🤷‍♀️

But if he was just watching basketball surely he would have been alerted by the pool alert that there was motion or heard emilies calls if the rumours are true… apparently there’s a chunk of videos now missing from her tt from April 2023-sept 2023…

Is it possible that the alarm isn’t like a burger alarm that literally makes a racket once you open the door but one that acts like a ring doorbell and just sends a notification to your phone?

If that was the case it makes sense that Trigg maybe snuck out of bed, Brady was watching basketball and had his phone on DND (I do this all the time) and didn’t get the notification / call from Emilie who also received the alarm? It makes sense then that if he wasn’t answering his phone, she called the police and first responders came to the house to investigate.

If true and she could see what was happening on her phone.. genuinely makes my heart break knowing she was helpless in that moment. I can’t imagine the panic.

As for records being sealed… I think within reason… the reason records are public is for accountability of both the victims and the police to ensure no foul play on either end. As well as full transparency on events. I disagree that you should be able to pay for this to not apply to you. Influencers or celebrities are no better than anyone else and it’s with good reason these things are public knowledge.

I’ve lost count of how many Netflix documentaries I’ve seen with bodycam footage, 911 calls, autopsy results and more and that includes for minors. Anyone who’s watched shows like that but thinks Triggs records should be completely inaccessible are hypocrites IMO.

However, do we need to know graphic details? Do we need to see him struggling in the water? Do we need to see the first responders attempt CPR? No, that should remain with the authorities. But I don’t see how they can argue against police reports and findings from the investigation to be made public.

Also, I think the reason why Avery woods took her video down is because it goes against the privacy argument that is being used for keeping the investigation out of the public domain. It won’t sit well with judges that the family are asking for privacy but their friends are using him in their videos to monetize (not saying it’s intentional, but that doesn’t make the reality untrue).

If he missed emilie calls I'd he must if had his phone on silent and didn't hear the notification on his phone he obviously very distracted if he didn't check his phone, my phone use to live on silent until i had 3 kids you can't risk missing a call if something ever goes wrong.

He shouldn’t have had his phone on silent if watching his child. Emilie strikes me as the type to ring and check in if she’s away from her child

I'm not saying Brady shouldn't have been supervising Trigg more closely but we don't really know exactly what happened yet...drowning is silent and can happen in seconds. Both parents are accountable for not properly securing their pools IMO. I would still blame myself as a mother.

Yes emilie seems like the type to check in, she seems like such a loving caring mum and person in general to be honest it seems so hardly left trigg with him, but unfortunately there doesn't seem like there's a lot going up there with brady he seems dopey and seems too chill and not as switching on as he should be. 😅 that's just the way he comes across in video's.

I think that’s why it’s been said that he likes to smoke 🍃 and I think it’s been alluded to in videos before too.

Totally agree. I can’t imagine who would want to see footage. It’s like those who seek out beheading videos. Turns my stomach.

if they have to release records, in my opinion, it should only be the written records of the officers who arrived on scene and maybe the cause of death, not the entire autopsy report. 911 calls also make me feel icky as I’m not sure what the point of having them made public actually is.

I’m guessing it’s a similar sort of scenario to when an under 18 year old dies suddenly in the UK. Investigations will be held into what happened and if it could have been prevented. If so charges are very rarely bought about in the uk anyone unless very obvious wilful or deliberate neglect but the tragedy should be used to shape future laws/guidance to prevent other kids losing their lives. After all children are individuals who deserve to be safeguarded not just property of their parents who sometimes with the best will in the world will make decisions that unfortunately are not in their best interests

A lot of discussion on Reddit about this. If that was the case it just makes it more tragic.

I saw this as well. It sounds awful tbh, receiving the alert and not being able to speak to Brady. I believe was this comment that also stated that Emily was out with Ken and she probably witnessed the whole thing and maybe spread the word a and some information got out to the wrong people. that’s why Emily ended up unfollowing her and not because she went back to posting videos

Surely she would have saw the footage if she'd gotten a notification from the camera? The court documents say she hasn't seen it and doesn't want to.

There’s just no point in speculating on how Trigg passed and what the circumstances were. We will never know and that should be kept private. They are good parents and loved their sons very much so regardless of how it happened, it’s devastating. Pointing fingers, blame, he-insight are what tears families apart after tragedy like this. Only the people who know exactly what happened have right to comment - and that is triggs immediate family. All these rumours are unnecessary.

Sadly the fact the statement from her legal team that she wasn’t home at the time to me hints she blames his dad. It’s a bit “I wasn’t home, I can’t be blamed” for me. Others may disagree.
I personally won’t understand the decision either of them made to not put a fence around their pool, especially as they had all the time in the world to do it before moving in but they didn’t and they have to live with that. Like others have said, hopefully it will give other parents the kick up the bum to sort their pool safety out if they haven’t already.

It’s so sad and I honestly don’t know as a parent how you come back from that. I hope they make it through as a family and thank goodness for that little baby no matter how sad the timing as I honestly think that will be what pulls them both through, I hope anyway as he needs both his parents.

There's no point to lots of things in life but they monitized that child throughout his life and many have a parasocial relationship so there will be lots of talk to fill in the voids. If they had of been private then there wouldn't be all the chatter. The horse has bolted after parents have made a fortune selling their children's privacy online.

I agree with this from twitter:

"Rabid fans and media have surrounded Emilie’s home, filmed through her windows, sent unsolicited packages, contacted members of her family who have private phone numbers, and even falsely announced Trigg’s death in the press before it was confirmed"

I am generally of the school that this situation just makes it super clear that children should never be on socials, and that it's difficult to request privacy after sharing so much of your life publically.

Still, That sucks. I still think this is an important story for the public to learn and I hope that the important details come to light.

I agree - the lack of joint statement from them both as well. I really hope they can move through this together for the sake of Theodore. Would be even more heartbreaking if this resulted in the parents going their separate ways
