I came across her a few months back when she was encouraging business to stay open- I was in awe at her knowledge ( common law/vaccines) etc
I would repeat what she would say to friends & family, they would often tell me to stop watching that crap. Haha just watched Ellie’s video. Why was she nearly crying with anger at the end even though she states at the beginning this thread is laughable. I feel so sorry for her to have to live her life like this. She must think that her life is like the Truman show. Everybody and everything is a hoax/conspiracy against her, and she must at all costs fight against the WHOLE WORLD... I have a friend who suffers with body dysmorphia and the difference between them is like night and day. She will literally walk on hot coals to be away from a mirror or having her picture taken. I tried my best to stay out of this, but temptation got the better of me. I used to follow her on Facebook when she used another name. Being a musician I was more interested in her songwriting than her anti-vaxxer stuff. I realised she was daft early on, but one thing made me realise just how daft she was She said that if you type in any 3 digit number, followed by 'number of cases', into Google, it would always return a result from the MSM. She reckoned this was proof that Google were part of a conspiracy. Lots of her followers believed her too.
However, she couldn't grasp that with so many countries in the world, each with lots of towns, cities, provinces, states, etc, then due to probability you would likely get a hit. Also take into account the number of cases, hospital admissions, deaths, daily and weekly changes. It is no wonder that Google would always find something. There's just so many combinations. A few of her followers understood this and tried to correct her. I remember one guy sensibly explained her flaw, and she said that he is what cognitive dissonance is! The irony!
This finally proved to me how thick she really is. It's called the Dunning Krueger effect. It explains how incompetent people are too incompetent to realise their own incompetence. John Cleese has a YouTube video about it, and sums it up beautifully when he said, 'Stupid people are too stupid to realise they are stupid.' That's what Ellie Grey is to a tee.
So Ellie, if you see this, please explain how typing a 3 digit number into Google followed by "number of cases' is in fact a mass conspiracy, and not due to simple probability.
