I'm planning a hidden helix too!

Ooooh I feel like this is where I belong!!

Left ear - 3x lobes, 1x high helix, 1x mid helix tragus, flat & rook
Right ear - 3x lobes, 1x conch - planned hidden helix
Other - tongue, nose

Retired - chest dermal and nape dermal

Have either of you got your hidden helix yet? I'm unsure whether to get a hidden helix or a hidden rook. I read the hidden helix gets caught a lot on hair so it's more painful but I was thinking the hidden rook might be annoying for wearing glasses . The other option is a vertical helix but I prefer them ook if the hidden better.
I do like the look of them both together so tempted to get both but not sure. I definitely want to piercings to balance our my ears though. I'd love a mid helix (or possible snug) but everything I've read has put me off a mid helix.

Lobes twice in each ear. Really want my tragus doing with one of those heart shaped piercings.

Personally I found my rook, conch and tragus were the easiest to heal and are my favourites!

Worst to heal were the daith, never stopped crusting and just wouldn't heal after 3 years! Also found upper cartilage piercings never 100% calmed down, always getting caught and sore. I took mine out after almost 10 years!

My biggest piece of advice if you're getting a new ear piercing is to choose a bar over a ring!

Oh and there is no pain quite like catching your belly piercing I don't know if they're fashionable at the moment, but there's no way I'd get mine re-pierced!

I still have my belly button pierced as I took it out for over a year and it wouldn’t heal so looked better than a big hole. I’ve never thought it hurt though. Nice easy piercing

It did yes I had no issues at all. I can still see the dots of where the piercing was, but it’s fully closed and cannot get a belly bar through it at all.
I religiously cleaned mine with salt water after I got it done though.

Mine healed pretty much overnight, though I was having issues with it a year after getting it done. Was quite badly scarred at the time because of the way the tissue was starting to break down (I had a tiny hole between the two piercing holes that kept leaking pus and scabbing over ) but a year later the scar is barely visible.

Your stomach can take a year to heal on the inside, it can look fine on the outside but inside takes the time, I cleaned mine 3x a day for four months, then 2x a day four months an finally once a day for the final four months, I just used salt water, doesn't take much, just some on a cotton swab an gently around it an move the bar up an down to clean it, was neither up nor down with it an it was fine, once the year was up I could change it an just gave the bar a little clean before I put it in

Thank you all Mine isn’t too bad, I clean it religiously every day too, it’s just that my skin doesn’t heal too well. I will give it some more time though!

All of a sudden I'm tempted to get a septum I've had my nose done before but it was a long time ago LOL

My septum is by far my favourite of all my piercings! I've got both nostrils done to, just to make it even ha ha

I had a conch piercing done just before Xmas, so far so good. I wasn’t doing any excessive cleaning, just spray it with saline. Obviously it still feel tender but I am very happy with it. I hope to get a tash rook done on the same ear.

for those of you who have lots of piercing, is one of your ears more ‘curated’ than the other, or do you try to balance it out?

I'm trying to keep mine balanced.

I have on my left:
3 lobe
Tragus
Daith

On my right:
2 lobe
Conch
Forward helix

I don't know whether to get my third lobe done on my right ear or keep them uneven as I definitely want to get a second forward helix on that ear.

Reading this thread is encouraging me to just get all the piercings I’ve had my eye on

Anyone with their Daith pierced … what was used a bar or a ring? My friend had hers pierced with a heart shaped ring years ago (similar below) though I’ve been researching it and not many suggest it’s safe to pierce with this type of ring straight away.

I have a heart shaped ring currently.

Had it pierced with a bar and then after about a year switched to heart shaped ring I got a hinged one though as easier to get in and out

I love ear piercings so much. I got my helix pierced yesterday after wanting it done for such a long time. I also have my lobes pierced, Tragus, and Conch. I had my anti Tragus done but the bar fell out one night when I was sleeping on holiday, couldn’t find the bar to put it back in and by the time I did, it had healed up. Would love to get it done again though but the pain was UNREAL. I have my nose pierced, nipple, medusa and belly button.

Does anyone else’s lobe piercing play up even after years? Last week one of my second lobe piercings went a bit red and sore, with yellowish discharge, I cleaned my earrings and it seems to have cleared up, but is that normal? No trauma to the piercing or anything

on my left ear I have my cartilage, then my “mid helix” and then my lobes done twice.

on my right ear, I just have two lobe piercings I think that’s enough for me lol, I like dainty jewellery/small Gold hoops in each piercing

I have a tragus and a rook. The rook was the most recent and has put me off ear piercings forever tbh, it took SO long to heal and was so incredibly painful. It’s fine now but I had to sleep on one side for about a year!

never had any problems with the other ones, I even pierced my second lobes parent trap-style in my bedroom when I was about 13 and they turned out fine would not recommend!

My conch was an absolute bastard. Swelled up like a rugby players ear and still flares up every now and then.

I want my lobes doing a 3rd time and my tragus - what’s the heal time like with tragus?

I have both of mine done at different times and it varied. The first healed incredibly fast, within a few weeks. The second was still bleeding occasionally and uncomfortable 8 months later. I got them done at separate times so I always had one side to sleep on but I’m wondering if I was lying on the second one more once I’d fallen asleep or something! I will also say the placement of the second isn’t the best - closer to the edge of the tragus instead of nicely in the middle. So my two varied from less than a month to about 10 months.

They can do every now and again. No reason. But settles down again thankfully

I have both ears pierced twice. Rarely wear two earrings though and regularly have to re pierce the second hole. Had the top of one ear pierced as a teenager many moons ago and it was agony. I couldn’t lie on it. Took it out and let it heal over.

Did they tell you it's not fully guaranteed? It's only a 50/50 that it works an you still will have a earing to look after should it not work, for me it does an doesn't work, I don't get as many migraines as I used to an my headaches have eased more, but I still do get them especially if am stressed or anxious, but I now get days where I am totally fine which never used to happen, for me I was fine having the earing if it worked or didn't so it wasn't a loss if it didn't totally work out, I'd recommend the bar as well since its easier to clean an won't move as much

Really craving a new ear piercing! Anyone heard of or have a faux snug (basically a high conch and mid helix to look like one bar)? I think they look really cool and are apparently much easier to heal than a regular one! Either that or a forward helix

My forward helix healed really quickly its just a bugger for changing the jewellery as its so close to hair and impossible to see in a mirror.

But I'm getting a second forward helix done soon as I love the stacked look
