That Alok Menon is a massive n.
Honest to God, don't know how anyone can come into this thread and call us TERFs, and defend these creeps! Menon is a menace like Jeffrey Marsh - and Dilly gets away with it because he looks like a little waif. All cut from the same cloth and it makes me so angry women defend this behaviour as being OK.

If it’s “brave” and to cosplay as a woman, that implies that being a woman is somehow less. Something embarrassing and low. That’s what Drew is endorsing with her embarrassing kow-towing to Mulvaney.

I am absolutely disgusted with Drew Barrymore and I hope women around her let her know how appalling and ridiculous her behaviour was.

Jes*s what an absolute farce.

I need to go and listen to the proper words of the song now to bleach my eardrums...

Hello wig. Hello not a womanly face.

if you wanted to giggle and share secrets with "the girls" you'd have been much better off as a camp gay man.

it shall take a while for the cringe to wear off from the falsetto and chest voice blend.

To be clear, I’m not accusing him of this, as I personally love The Little Mermaid and have done for a long time and would sing the songs any change I got (if I could sing!) but from the accusations of TRAs co-opting the BLM movement, and the obvious accusations of TRAs co-opting Womens rights, why is it now that he has released this “performance” at the exact same time that the trailer for the new The Little Mermaid movie was released that features a young black woman in the starring role? Anyone with any nuance, consideration or indeed common sense would link the two, I would have thought. (Then again, you’ve got whole brands with whole HR and advertising departments that routinely fall into this trap so either I, and most on this thread are very clever and would be suitable in these roles, and more intelligent than the hires they’ve hired in these huge organisations and are very, very clever individuals in seeing this, or the ones actually hired and making these decisions are in fact, very, very stupid and unsuitable).

Sounds like he's trying to force his voice too high, and then his perspective on women is odd, but then that's been clear for ages. At some point he's going to realise that grown women don't have pillow fights or spend their evenings braiding each others hair.

This person just gives me creepy vibes!! Gives me the vibes that in a few years time they'll snap and do something that results in jail time kinda vibes.

I came across an article today that struck something to me. Because I’m sure he said in the past that his family is/were (not the family’s pronouns 😂) very conservative and disapproving of him “being trans” as a child. But this pre-trans article on him (and including quotes from him) reads the complete opposite:

No one sounded good in this recording. Why didn’t he have other trans women as backing singers?

I’m still in shock at DREW FREAKING BARRYMORE kneeling before this clown. What on earth was she thinking? She is a successful, charismatic, interesting, intelligent woman. Kneeling before a talentless, fake, insincere, grifting wannabe. The thing is, if Dylan really WERE a ‘girl’, Drew wouldn’t be kneeling before her. I really hope she is able to reflect on this situation and realise how messed up it is.

Not just Drew Barrymore. Kamala Harris too…look at this ‘living authentically’ letter from her on this slide of Instagram photos. Stop hero worshipping these LARPing grifters.🤬🤬

Everyone is in this for clout. I bet Dylan can’t believe how this escalated from a parody to a very lucrative performance. I cannot believe how willing people are to abase themselves before this very very average person.

There is something seriously and pathologically wrong with Mulvaney.

I'm not denying that Dylan is trans or not and I am respectful of how they present/identify but I found it very odd, I don't know if that is the right word, but how quickly they blew up online and became viral over this, and they were doing things such as meeting the president etc. It has always unsettled me for a bit and it seems a bit convenient how it's capitalised them for fame.
