I've just read it too. Theres a sweet pic pf her in a welsh cafe. I am looking forward to hearing her new music. She doesn't owe anyone any more of an explanation and says that the name of the kidnapper is between her and the police.

I agree about this but it's human nature that people are going to have questions.

Like I say, I hope she's well. I also look forward to hearing her music, I wonder what sound she'll be doing now. I feel it will probably be completely different to the albums after so long.

I read her statement fairly quickly but I got the impression that she had informed the police a few times? She said at one point the name of the perpetrator will stay between her and the police? Unless I'm really misreading here does that mean it has been investigated?

Meh, if she wants to relaunch she has to address it, so it’s in the hands of PR people now. It’s her story to tell, she decides.

Though if big details are left out, people are just naturally going to ask questions so I hope she's prepared for that.

This sounds like a telenovela... not that believable? How could she get on a flight drugged...I am sure the airport security and staff would notice. feel like she is using it for promo/a comeback, I know that sounds bad.

A very bad telenovela at that. It's like a synopisis of a scene from one of those really ropey and badly acted South American soap operas you can watch clips of on youtube. Where's the laughing mustache twirling henchman with the Chloroform rag?

Yes fucking this.

It feels "wrong" to say it. People need to be able to address their trauma how it is best for them. However, I don't see how drip feeding benefits anyone including the survivor, maybe especially the survivor.

There’s a blind item saying it was the lead singer of an A list group. It would make sense if he’s not British as it would explain why they didn’t prosecute.

who has she been linked to in the music industry though? I only know of the welsh rugby player

I'm sure Duffy had big problems with a stalker, I assumed it was him. The ex is still on Instagram and selling holidays in Dubai, if it was him he would have disappeared.

He’s not ‘selling holidays in Dubai’, he lives there with his wife and son where she runs a successful business and he has a kids coaching academy.

I don’t read that as ginger pointing at the ex in the article, he’s very famous in Wales and perhaps the extended mention of him is because he’s arguably more famous in Wales than her.
