Yeah and she seems to constantly tag fab pharmacist and dr Lisa probably to get engagement up. I don’t know where these doctors find the time

Dr. Lisa is against people taking medication for pain, advises acupuncture and reflexology (which is unusual for a medical doctor I'd guess?!) but last week she thought that the new injections for weight loss were brilliant! Am I missing something? Is she only happy to prescribe for certain conditions?

She isn't against taking medication for pain? Om fact she had a list of meds, patches and gels and the hourly rate at which you can take them all, in the last few days

She showed them yes but commented how she doesn’t like to medicate

I think it was that there are great complimentary therapies as well as pain relief when in acute pain. She even said she hates when people come to the er without having taken something for pain, and that the 4 on the list worked well together

I think the point of her post was when patients present to ED or GPs doctors are very quick to prescribe stronger medication (coedine and opiod based) when in actual fact they aren't necessarily needed. There's a huge problem globally with opiod addiction and I think she's right to highlight.
Also she was highlighting that many patients don't treat pain at home adequately before presenting to ED

Wish i was in those EDs .. usually its 'paracetamol' or maybe if you're nearly dead 'codeine ' in my experience .. and don't get me started on the post c section pain relief smarties I've been offered.

Wow, she's so touchy! Surely she expects to sometimes be challenged/questioned? I agree that the tone of the message was not pleasant but just block and get on with your day. She really lets herself down by sharing that type of thing, very petty. She seems very immature in ways for someone is such a senior position. That silly carry on takes away from her credibility, she needs a thicker skin.

Here we go again, UK is better than Ireland narrative. Bitter there's no job for her here prehospital. Unfollowed as her constant moaning is beyond annoying. She used to give useful medical info, now it's all just complaining.
