I actually cringed at those stories. My son had this issue too and now that he’s a teen he is cringing at some of the fairly normal pictures I used to share of him when he was younger and has asked me to delete most of them. Now that I see it through his eyes I totally get it and felt really bad about it somehow when he pointed it out to me. What she shared was far too personal and it’s really disrespectful to him I feel. She’s giving no consideration to his consent or his feelings about this in the future.

Thought the exact same. Especially as a consultant (as she loves to tell us) she should definitely know better! Any person I know working in the medical field wouldn't dream of doing this. Extremely violating of his privacy.

Found the whole rant very bizarre. I hate the whole "gifted stay for the gram" and avoid hotels that are always at it but I get it from a marketing point of view. Obviously hotels are going to go all out if their facilities are being shown to hundreds of thousands of followers. Why would Lisa expect the same if she's not going to pay for it and not generating any revenue for the hotel via exposure? Yes most hotels in Ireland are way overpriced but that's not the instagrammer's fault is it?
Also didn't understand her point about not telling the hotel she has a third child until she rocks up to check in... Bizarre..

I totally get that but if you want to put yourself out on a public platform and benefit monetarily from it you either need a thick skin and be able to ignore it, or if you do respond do so politely. It's those same followers that give her the power to get endorsement etc.
I think her responses really don't come across well. I'm trying to remember who I saw on Insta lately saying something like "please don't message me with advice as I'm not seeking it so please respect my boundaries" or similar. I thought it was a polite but assertive way to get the message across. Lisa could definitely communicate less defensively while still getting her point across.
Glad I found this thread this one is a pain in the face she’s as fake as her face and I find her so cold I applaud her for her career but being a mammy is the most rewarding job you’ll ever do she just doesn’t seem present at all with the kids interested to hear it anyone knows her from where she’s from what is she like off screen

she's a pain, for sure, like the rest of these insta ones. . Looking for attention. The medical ones pretend their educating the public just to get notice.
Anyway, I do think we should give the same critique to men as women. We likely wouldn't say to a working Male doctor, being a daddy is the most rewarding job etc. Etc..you should be at home more. . .

It's not so much her job . Most women work so she shouldn't be judged on that.
But maybe you meant all the other extra bits and pieces she seems to do as well as her job. .
But maybe her husband does more at home and maybe they've reversed traditional roles to fit a more modern world. That's what I think.

I agree, who says that being a mammy is the most rewarding job? Not for everyone it isn't and fully agree with @Maggiemay80 that you never hear the same being said to the daddy. I really don't think it's a stick we should beat her with, she seems very present and interested in her kids when she's with them from what I've seen.
It's about time we got away from those gender roles of women being nothing if not mothers and not having other forms of fulfillment. And women also need to get to keep up their career if they want to. Some want to stay home or reduce work, others still want their own thing. Can be role models for their children as working mothers too! And absolutely agree that her husband might do more of the house stuff when she's busy with what is a high intensity job. I have no particular love for her, but hate the guilt imposed on women who try to keep their careers, while it's expected that the man will.

I've been at home the past two days with sick children and I can tell you if there was a mammy HR department I'd be speaking to them about my resignation. I'll bleeping skip in the door to work tomorrow, quite happy to be relieved of mammy duties.

Jesus can’t believe that ad she has up for the cholesterol supplement. How is she not pulled up on it? If she had advertised it and said check with your doctor before going on it and don’t come off any medication but she practically said it’s safer than tablets!
