As a very minor plus, it’s useful to have a real life example of how the Nice Guy persona plays out - like a lot of us spotted this from the start but look how many get sucked in. It must be genuinely useful for parents of teenagers to be able to talk through the toxicity and to trust your instincts? Thank you Alex and Hugo I guess🖕
Even better they are a doctor and a teacher - two professions with high trust scores. Assholes are everywhere.

Sorry but do you KNOW he gave it up or did she want it and He not fight it…. I’m all for facts mate
IIRC at the time of their break up an article came out saying he had dumped the dog on the ex girlfriend and she was forced to move out of his and find new accommodation quickly. Fair play to her for not giving up the dog when he did the dirty on her.
either way I think it’s dreadful to get a dog with someone (AKA a huge commitment) and then cheat on them causing the relationship to essentially end

There are many words I’d use to describe Dr Alex, but “Daddy” certainly isn’t one of them 🤢

God help me for typing this but if he’s writing captions like that it makes me think he might be a fan of baby talk. Sorry everyone

The catfishing sexy doctor pose!! It’s like something from the start of a medical themed porno ‘oh hello you called for a checkup, have you seen my stethoscope’

He’s so gross
How the duck does he know how to support children when they start primary school? He's got a medical degree sure and did a few years working in A&E, but he hasn't worked extensively in paeds, he is not qualified in any sort of mental health speciality, and he hasn't worked with children before. It is really tedious when there are plenty of people who do have experience in these areas who would be a lot better placed to talk about it. As is he has probably just googled/nabbed their tips and ideas and put his name to it, ew.

Also agree it's cringe af, why is he tweaking the end of the stethoscope like a nipple? Shudder.

Yep, it’s such an old photo, but what grinds my gears is, like you say, him now waxing lyrical about paediatrics and mental health. He’ll have some clinical experience but not a wealth of it, presumably a placement during his gp training? I hate the way these influencers with the remotest link to a topic suddenly become experts, just to shill stuff. My eldest is moving to a new school this September as we’ve moved house, in addition to that she’s really struggling- has become incredibly clingy since the suicide of a family member and I’m anticipating lots of difficulties with the transition and settling in to a new school- will I be reading his book to help me manage it? Will I buggery!!

Pretty sure although he was accepted onto the programme he didn't start his GP training even. Obviously up to him but the fact he acts like he has decades of clinical knowledge and experience and by virtue of his degree and very limited time as a practicing doctor he has a platform to talk about stuff he has no clue on is worrying.
