Another DS user here.

I'm quite amazed I've never been banned - only been warned going against the Corona thread mafia.

The site has definitely changed over the years. It's just basically a battleground out there now. I've had runs in with all the usual antagonists (Tanya, JJ, Walter, Whedonite)

Luckily I've mastered posting just enough to hit back and not get banned.


Will check this site out as I've read through the thread and gets lots of positive reviews.

Hello fellow DS'ers, I am The Prumeister. Apologies in advance for anyone I have pissed off/upset/'spatted' with. I have been a member since 2004 and in the early days it was a fucking scream, then DSU was created and I had massive fall outs with all of them (can't believe it's still going tbh) and now it's just mediocre, butt clenching drivel on the whole (DS that is). I agree with the general consensus on Whedonite - no woman can ever be criticised. Veri is like Rumpole of the fucking Bailey and I remember a couple of jokers - AOTB and ChipDouglas82 who rode in on their white knight chargers sticking up for big titted 'stunners' like Danielle Lloyd et al. I still post on there but in a very half arsed way.

Ahhh.... hello The Prumeister! I always enjoyed reading your posts and agreed with many of them as you spoke a lot of sense. I hope you are keeping well and safe.

I found this place thanks to DS and I don't post anymore because there's too many arguments, quick bannings over nothing and so much repetitiveness, which is a shame as I joined way back in 2004 and was a regular in the Soaps and mainly BB forum, where I actually once got banned during a heated discussion over Gerry BB8 because I dared to say you'd have to have half a brain to believe something (can't remember what it was), so clearly someone with half a brain got offended and I was banned for a week or so.

I used to venture into the soaps forum quite regularly but it was really cliquey, especially the Eastenders threads. You were definitely ignored if your face didn’t fit.

I'm completely convinced DS was infiltrated by Momentum and that's why things have got SO bad there now for anyone who doesn't follow the herd. The thread in Politics about Corbyn being suspended says it all when it comes to what a depserate echo chamber the forums have been turned into.

I just don't have any interest in DS these days. It's slow moving and dull as fuck. I don't think it's going to be long before the forum part of DS closes.

So far it's still going strong, which is great but it will be gone the moment the mods are "back in the office".

People like Psychosis are a huge part of the current problem we've got with activism turning toxic and people who want to do the right thing chosing to keep quiet and stay away instead. It helps nobody and I don't know how people like Psychosis can't see it unless the division is actually their goal.

I was accused of that too, it was a comment about Sam Smith that got me into hot water.

Sam Smith is an attention seeking bellend, and that has nothing to do with their being trans.

Sad to say she passed away on the 5th October, I'm embarrassed that I've only just found this out, she was a friend on FB.
All that was said that she died suddenly.

The old Pricey thread was legendary and I was surprised it lasted so long. The trick was to avoid being too rude on weekends as the mod on then was another titty perve who would delete a post at the drop of a hat when Katie's mate betty britain reported it. Betty was a scream, she was a top chef you know, and then a social worker and then a legal bod and god knows how many other imagined professions when she needed to pretend to have insider info on how fabulously perfect Pricey was. I was given her personal info on there by someone who knew her well but was pissed off at her lies, but despite me being a bitch I didn't dox her cos I'm not that big a cunt believe it or not.

I use to love the big brother thread. I got banned once for something on the bb thread. There was so many arguments and mods would ban you for the slightest. So glad we have tattle

I'm different to you then. If I got into a disagreement and then got a snarky response, such as "why are you so rude?" or (the old chestnut) "hang your head in shame" which I have to say always made me roll my eyes, then I used to respond because the members of the gang were very selective in their castigations. Certain members couldn't write a post without the usual tiresome insults which the loons don't realise have lost their meaning because they're flung around like confetti. I'm speaking about the politics section here. It's a clique of the most intolerant lefties and yet they promote themselves as tolerant. I responded because some of the more nasty posts went unchecked by this "tolerant" band.

I find the best way to look at ds politics forum is with a giggle. Sanctimonious idiots on there make me laugh with their sneery one sided attitude. It's why it's become an echo chamber for the left. They are always asking where brexit supporters have gone - well the simple answer is they have ganged up and hounded them off.

I went over to view a few topics and I'm glad I quit. It's not that everybody is a bad poster over there, but there is an ever-present sanctimonious and condescending attitude in almost every thread.
Actually my account isn't banned and I can always reset my log-in details, but there's no real attraction for doing it.

I'm another refugee from the JKR thread. I kind of knew I was going to get banned when I posted but I thought 'what the heck, some people might read it and see it's ok to tell the truth'. My post was on there for a while and had 17 likes last time I checked.
i expect I'm permabanned but I won't be going back even if I'm not. The whole forum has gone to shit over the last few years. Shame really, it used to be my favourite.

This is my first post on Tattle, and am so glad I found this site and this thread in particular (Thanks Google!)

Was a DS drone for about 4 years, always kept away from the volatile forums/threads, never ruffled any feathers. Just wanted a quiet time posting my thoughts while trying to be one of the guys. But for whatever reason I made a fairly innocuous post about Kate Garraway, and the next thing I'm jumped on by the Garraway fanboys and girls, and shortly after banned!

That was a couple of months ago and I'm still locked out. I lurk there, but it really is a secret member's club now. If your face/views don't fit, out you go.

Am hoping Tattle isn't quit so merciless

Bangla is a nasty piece of work

As I had nothing else to do this morning, I had a look at Bangla's profile and there are 430 'discussions'. Even if you take of the 100+ posts he's created that's still a lot of interaction with the mods and there's only so many times you can contact them about thread merges and the like.

He's killed the LBC thread and his interactions on the TalkRadio thread are only there to cause trouble. The gang are out to get Martin and Crawley Cutie that's for sure. Their interactions with them are so rude and pathetic.

Bangla is quite a sad individual really, it's obviously how he gets his kicks these days. Oh, and don't get me started on the bursts of Italian he insists on using

And if anyone is isn any doubt, I would say all of this to Bangla's face on DS but obviously that would lead to a permanent ban

Sorry if this offends anyone, but I came across something weird on DS about 2 months ago.

There was a poster on there that supposedly died of Coronavirus aged 32, and I thought it was really sad at first, but after l looked through her post history, something seemed dodgy.

She was a regular poster on one of the Chatter(?) threads, and she would post on DS whilst supposedly doing things such as drinking champagne in a French hotel, sat in her car "better go now, traffic is moving", drunk with friends, and hosting a dinner party for her family. She also posted a picture of her girlfriend once, so I Google reversed searched the picture and it was from a Russian porn site (the girlfriend was French apparently).

The poster described herself as a slim, blonde, big boobed lipstick lesbian, who always got chatted up by men.

Her last few posts were about her feeling ill, and then a week later her brother posted on the thread she was a regular on (using her account) saying that she had died in hospital of Covid, and that before her death she gave him a list she had written with all her usernames and passwords on.

Just thought it was all a bit weird and I wouldn't be surprised if the account was a fake, and a sock puppet for another account. Her post count wasn't that high despite being a regular on that Chatter thread. There are a lot of users with multiple accounts on DS, especially the Soap forums.

Just thought I'd share that. I can't remember the username but her name was Diane or Diana.

DS is annoying mostly, and I agree that the SCD Spoiler thread makes my eyes roll back.

I honestly think one day someone will turn up here saying they were banned from DS because they went on a thread and said 'Good Morning' and some one on the thread was having a bad morning so they were baiting. Banned for life

I read on another forum where they were discussing stupid bannings on ds, really made me chuckle because nowadays it is so appropriate.
