Whatever happened to the spammers DS must have got a tough new system to stop them I remember once when a spammer went crazy overnight and posted multiple threads in every section, the good old days are now long gone.

Used to be easy to join.

I tried to join last year.

My Account was created, but then I had to wait until it was approved by a Mod/Admin. Following on from that, I tried to log in a few days later and was told that my details were incorrect.

On the subject of having to wait a certain amount of time before you can post, Pistonheads makes you wait up until a week before you are even given posting privileges.

Was this the first time you tried to join, or a second time with a different ID? I only ask as years ago FMs managed to sign up with numerous IDs/usernames, but it is no longer easy to do that now, if at all.

Has anything been heard from the poster Bill Clinton recently? I remember him being on the spectrum and once posting a thread about leaving a negative review about a hotel in Wales because they wouldn’t give him a glass of water. I felt quite sorry for him, he clearly had very real,difficulties.

What happened to Pumping Iron on DS?

I remember him from around 6 or 7 years ago and after seeing him mentioned elsewhere I saw that was banned around 2 years ago.

The general consensus is that he was banned after warning people not to post in trans threads as "you know who" will show up and call them transphobic.

I heard a rumour that what lead to it being a permanent ban was him trying to set up a sock puppet account during an initial 7 day ban. I'm not sure how much truth there is that, but I remember him making the above comment which was swiftly deleted and he was banned immediately after.
