Sulla was one of the worst baiters in politics forum. I remember he was quite misogynistic in the Question Time threads
I personally didn't get that impression - I love a dry sense of humour which he had but a lot of people didn't understand it. He was never nasty to anyone and didn't deserve to get banned.

Rachel Riley and Tracy Ann Oberman were, apparently, making direct complaints to Hearst about the vile anti semitism from well known Politics users. Coincidental that the forums in question are to be purged?

Well yeah haha no point staying anymore really.

welcome Belfast Guy

been LOLing at you saying the truth about the people that caused the demise of DS

Yes, I had a bunch of alerts from several threads some months ago. The mods allow/support racist insults directed at forum members as long as the insult-er is a self-labelled left winger. It gives them license to say what they want. Some chap called BanglaRoad, for example, plus others. Yet I’m the racist, apparently.
That's DS for you, they double down on wokism and just won't listen to common sense

I hope there have been bouncers put on the doors to stop WHEDONIT 😁😁😁

Well I got warned for advertising a forum I’d created a while ago and the thread was removed.

I pm’ed one particular user to invite them to join and within 10 minutes I was banned :)

I can’t say I’m massively bothered to be honest, which is something I thought I’d never say.

how the DS forums seem to have declined from the time I was there

so sad to see what its come to

should we petition Herst Publishing to close the forums
They probably don't even know that Digital Spy forums exist it is just a subsidary of DS and I doubt they know what is going on in the UK site or care as long as it makes a profit in advertising.

I can only remember her posts in the depression thread. I don't know if I ever saw her other posts.

That was SoapyJo. They were both in their 20s I think. Very sad.
I always remember them as, when I eat ice cream and a little dribble of icecream runs down my mouth, or, when I slowly unwrap a chocolate bar, or, I love running my hands up my stockinged legs, or, when your blouse unbuttons and your new black lace bra peeks out. 😁

I think these were in the trivial things and what amuses you, threads

Seemingly her parents knew that one of her uncles was taking her to radical meetings.
Landis has never came to terms with the demise of Corbyn.
Daddy dearest (he of the teddy bear clutching appeal) was pictured at a flag burning hate rally alongside Corporal Rigby's murderer.
Hate filled bastard. The apple didn't fall too far from the tree. Fuck him and fuck her.

Yes. I belong to a few. I do feel though that DS is the strangest.
I think if you belong to a couple of other forums it sticks out a mile that something is amiss on DS. That's what I think anyway. I've been on DS for 10 years and another forum for 17 and I'd never, ever had so much as a warning on either of them and then the last 18 months on DS I'm one step away from a permanent ban!

I think Hearst WOULD care if they bothered to read deep enough into what DS has become

much of whats written by the nasties must surely go DIRECTLY AGAINST the company ethos

the bigger effort we make

the more likely Hearst will consider closing it down

maybe some sort of grassroots campaign

perhaps even stir something up on Twitter
Is it not better to let the idiots stay in their little dark corner?

Just asked for my account to be deleted. lets hope they do it and I not have to go out via death by mod
I still have mine on there just about, though very little used now. Hello All by the way. I used to post a lot in the politics thread until the 2016 general election when suddenly it became infiltrated by the hard left factions and as previously mentioned, a hive mind for the fanatics. I then quit another thread for radio discussions about three years ago, as that too had become a sounding board for blind sided and intolerant.

But she's a nice person. She said so today!
She just sort of said sorry when asked about the serial reporting of members

" I didn't know it wasn't the done thing. When I read that almost nobody else did it with posts that annoyed them, I made a concerted effort to stop doing it. I think it was a couple of months ago that I read that via a link I'd been sent, and I tried hard to take that aspect on board, because I'm not unreasonable and I do respond to valid constructive criticism. "

Well Tanya, you and I entered into dialogue and an hour later I got banned so I guess you didn't try hard enough.

When so many comments are made about one poster on DS - Tanyya82 - then surely all of us can't be wrong asking how she gets away with what she does. FGS, she has posted more comments in 9 months than some posters have in 9 years! For someone who 'claims' to be so worldly-wise and had such a fantastic life before C-19, WTH is she doing spending so much time on DS? Wouldn't she be keeping up with her mega-rich friends via personal contacts or social media, instead of posting on a crappy forum?

I also notice she has become very nicey-nicey to new and/or naive posters who believe her BS. Rarely tries it on with those who can see through her narcissistic guff.
I see she's started reporting people again. Three more since her "break".

You can be members of more than one forum, surely? I dip in and out of several. Tattle is my favourite, it's busy and the posters are funny, kind and smart. Digital Spy used to be entertaining, and I'm not sure what changed - it's dull as ditchwater though.

That thread about the retired policeman who died by suicide via setting fire to himself in his car, one of the most horrendous ways to go I can imagine, on DS has absolutely horrified and chilled me to the core.

One of the more upsetting stories about someone falling victim to mental health issues and what do the oh so "woke" crew on DS do? Nothing but mock and sneer. I could not believe what I was reading. What's wrong with society when this is a dominant emotional response to such an upsetting story? Only one user that I could see tried calling people out on it but she/he/they were completely ignored last time I checked. No input from the moderators either on whether such replies to a story like this might just not be appropriate.

I've had to avoid the general discussion while that thread is active as if I click on it again I'll probably cry. I still can't believe it.

So much for progress on mental health stigma being made in the UK as apparently if someone was a bit of an arse and complained about his neighbours like the bloke in the story, it doesn't matter if they were actually ill and took their own life.

Was he the main doxer on DTV? Crossing him was the worst thing you could do.
Yeah, can't remember his actual name. He was a sad sack though, appeared to spend all his time trying to track down real life identities of forum members - quite what for, I don't know.

I do remember having a conversation with someone on DS who threatened to report one prolific poster to her employer. She posted only on the X Factor fan threads, from 9am until 5pm every weekday. Apparently she let slip the name of her employer and this person was going to email the CEO with screenshots of her online activities while she was (presumably) meant to be working. I'm not sure whether they did - it all got a bit too Black Mirror for me and I stepped away sharpish.

I think as long as people don't carry over beefs from DS it will be fine here. Most seemed to be getting hoovered up by the AV forum anyway. Fun times ahead for them!
