I am one of the many banned posters who have also now found Tattle - so much better! I still don't understand what the DS Discussion counts mean. Yes, you have flagged a post to the mods, but that could be for many reasons, yet it now seems to mean you want a poster banned. Thank goodness I'm no longer part of that as it seems very divisive.

I have got no issue with people using the report feature legitimately but there are some who are blatantly using it at the drop of a hat. Tanya for instance has amassed over 100 reports in a matter of months. You don't get a report count that high unless you are very thin skinned or deliberately baiting people to get them banned.

LOL , i posted a real scathing review last year, i'm happy to see people are carrying it on

I told the mods they should have a look at DS forum reviews on trust pilot , they ignored me, they are so woke that they just bury their heads in the sand , their forum is falling down around them and they do nothing

most of the people left apart from a small percentage are just horrible FM's , the way they reply to each other is just horrible, and if you get a decent thread with good FM's then you get the same people turning up twisting posts just to get a woke argument going

I thought Tanya was a bot - She has lived a life that could only be written about in a trash novel - nothing realistic but if it really is, why post it on an open forum? Either way makes no sense apart from being a Diva troll.

toward the end , i was winding up the mods , i would click report on the same post at least 5 times, then i would just claim i didnt know if it had been received as i got no confirmation

The idea they dont mod it 24 hours is not my problem,so i just spammed the report just to piss them off, they gave me a warning, but then i would have a go at them for warning me when i didnt understand if it had been received etc.. they only answer their favourites quickly anyway , which i also told them

Personally, I think that whoever posted as Lucien De Ville now posts as Tanya. The posting style has been refined over the months that they've been posting because it started out very similar to Lucien. I got put in forum jail for pointing that out, although all I actually did was quote one of Tanya's posts and wrote "No, can't do this. Far too familiar".

i was on DS and i dont think i used the report button in the first 6 or 7 years , the mods would allow you to sort it out yourselfs within reason, but then they started getting involved , so i would target the likes of whedonit , anything she posted even a little bit dodgy i would report it , knowing full well the mods would do nothing , i just like to get under their skin

Other than that i never needed to use the report as there were some decent FM's before they started banning them or people leaving as it got too woke

Didn't that Lucien character get banned about 15 years ago and still keeps coming back under different guises? I wonder what they get out of it.

i saw someone mention stolengoodplanet or something like that , she was the worst ive seen on DS , she turned up last year on the classic corrie thread , threatened everyone that she was cleaning up DS and had the backing of the mods , she then reported everyone , some who got into an argument got a ban, then next day i was chatting and mentioned people on holiday, i pressed refresh and was banned for 2 weeks

she was literally breaking all the rules and i kept reporting and pointing out rules breaks , i was doing this over email as i was banned, the mods had no interest in punishing her , in the end i accused the mods of being that FM , i'm so glad i gave that forum up , it wasnt worth getting angry over

Yeah, the original ID was banned a very long time ago. He would always give himself away every time by referring to himself and his (alleged) family as "we" all the time. And it was always middle-class problems as well. You could spot him a mile off.

I must admit, I'd probably find it hilarious if it turned out that Pink Teddy was behind all of these PBU's and 'characters'

i had a personal issue with the mods, i caught them lying over posts i had made, they said i posted things that i never and i had screenshots , they thought deleting them would make it easy , so for me reporting the trouble makers was my way of showing the mods i knew what they were doing.

Believe me over the last 2 years i had proof of the mods not taking action anyway, so its nothing to do with genuine alerts werent taken seriously , they would ignore certain reports on certain FM's , the posts i reported were genuine rule breaks, after testing out my theory i thought duck it, i will spam the report button

Believe me i had screenshots of rule breaks over the last year that i reported and nothing was done , and i was then warned over a same rule break they ignored when i reported it , if the mods on there were regulated i had enough to get some sacked, but they arent regulated by anyone so the mods do what they like , so i ended up doing what i like before i got bored.

Its not me thats to blame, the mods are to blame, they have ignored genuine alerts over responding within seconds when they get a woke alert, its the way its run thats the problem , not FM's like me they took the piss out of

I don't know Lucien De Ville, but I agree that Tanya is no way the 'new' poster s/he claims to be. Whoever started posting in June 2020 is definitely NOT a new poster to DS. The posting style is not one of a newbie.

The mods do lie, even over the most stupid things. This is what I wrote in the first few pages on the first thread:

Those mods don’t know their a from their elbow. I contacted them once and asked them why they had taken away a certain feature that used to be on the site. They replied back saying they never had that feature at all and wasn’t planning to implement it. I emailed them back with a link to a 10 page thread I made a few years before about said feature. No response after that

I mean, it’s not important but I just don’t get the need to lie over something so pointless!? Or, if it was a genuine mistake or oversight, to fire a quick reply back to say something like “it looks like we did used to have that feature but it was decided to remove it”.

yes , i think i saw it was your post mentioning her that reminded me, to be able to threaten everyone and say she had the backing of the mods was well out of order, and the mods didnt do anything, any normal person and they would be banned, its the idea that the mods warn/ban some and do nothing against the real trouble makers

Thank you for coming back to fully explain your situation. Unfortunately it seems like nothing has changed, it seems to have become even worse. I also keep saying I no longer trust the DS mods, something changed in the last few years and not for the better.
