Omg I was on that one🤣

It was about John James and Josie. They had fans literally swooning over them and we took the piss.

Thats reminded me of a lovely poster called Patsylimerick, she was so funny about it all.

I really think I spent too much tine in the Big Brother forum💀🙈
We all have our vices! ;)

Owen10 creates a thread every day at the exact same time: 23:10 (sometimes he varies the time but it’s usually around the 11:00pm mark) on whatever random thought that comes in his head and then rarely comes back to the thread. He’s obviously not interested in people’s responses if it’s a thread with a question (that he never puts a question mark on the end of). He makes the thread for the sake of making one

He puts just a single letter title and then posts it at bang on the time and then edits it afterwards just so it has the precise time he sets himself. No idea why he does it
Richard Coulter does it a lot in Broadcasting. The questions are fine but sometimes he just shares random news articles.

Who was the one that had a ridiculously high post count to the point that it was a source of humour on DS ?
There used to be Bigfeet as well. Always posting links to BBC news, and would occasionally start going on about her nieces doing cartwheels on her lawn. She stopped posting really abruptly, apart from the odd post where it was obvious she'd logged in on the wrong account. Very odd.

Going through the DS memory banks, there was a member called ''PinkStar28'' who took the ditsy blonde stereotype and ran with it.

Such classic examples as -

where do all the witches go on halloween xxxxx — Digital Spy

have i bin reduced to bein moved on chatter???? — Digital Spy

This is gonna seem like a silly question but........ — Digital Spy

The best one for last - shud i dress like prim and proper or like a slapper??? — Digital Spy

Not to be confused with another user called ''PinkTeddy'' who rather infamously started a .GOV petition to get someone's DS ban lifted.
Thanks for the many links to PinkStar but am I the only one more interested in the mention of PinkTeddy’s infamous .gov petition to get a DS ban lifted and who it was who got banned and why they got banned and what did PT’s petition say!?

Who was the DS user who used to post like this ?
I remember that it used to drive others up the wall.
Post like what?

Edit: I can see when I quoted your post the way you’ve spaced your second sentence but unfortunately it’s not obvious on my phone as your post just looks normal

There was a Yank on DS called BrooklynBoy who used to post about interesting stuff. Unfortunately, he stopped posting in about 2016.
I remember that name, and being surprised he actually was American. Not sure why I assumed otherwise.

There was a poster called Trinity2002 who lived near me. We didn't know each other IRL, but she always seemed nice.

I was on DS but was a prolific lurker, although I did occasionally post. I remember on general discussion someone quoted Tanya1982 and gave her a piece of their mind. I then quoted it and added a few extra of my own thoughts. That gave me my one and only warning.

Just logged into check and it was @Notorious PIG / Victoria Sponge that I’d quoted! Both of our posts were removed.

If memory serves me correctly it was this post that triggered it. Her usual made up crap pretending to be mega posh and wealthy. I’ve scrubbed my name in the warning screenshot as other posts have identifiable info (in 2008!)

She interrupted my thread once to brag that she attended a finishing school, as I posted earlier. But she's nice to me.

Straker on DS is quite possibly the miserable sod I've ever seen anywhere in my entire life.
Have you ever come across Styker? He could start an argument in an empty room. He’s so antagonistic, if he’s wrong about something he won’t put his hand up and admit that he’s wrong he has to come up with some long convoluted reason for why he said something without ever saying, ‘oops my mistake’ and the amount of people who have said in various threads that they’ve put him on ignore as they can’t take his combative style

Was he American, an awful lot of Americans are circumcised to the point that a lot of American Women won't date an uncircumcised Man.
No and that isn’t an excuse. Those men are creeps. Oh and I’m British (but Jewish so) and that friend is Chilean. Again this isn’t about the practice itself but this absolute weirdo.

Who was the one that was stalking the Easterners cast? To the point where the BBC had to get involved and DS went on damage control ?
Think that was MoanyLisa.

Can't work, won't work, yet can find the time (and our money) to fly from Northern Ireland, pay for accomodation, etc - just to sit outside of Corrie and EE studios and harass the cast for a couple of days at a time.

Does anyone remember the actor who Chris Parker, who played Spencer Moon in Eastenders? He also appeared on the very first series of Strictly and came runner up. Well he attempted to take his own life and had to be written out of the show, it was alleged it was in part because of awful stuff written about him in the DS soap forum and the mods had to make a pinned thread about it. We weren’t allowed to talk about him at all as there had obviously been a complaint made by either the BBC or his agent. I hadn’t thought about this for years until he was mentioned again in Eastenders recently. He has left acting altogether now I believe. The DS soap forum really was crazy back then.
Let me guess, Mona Lisa ?

There are some right arses in the Doctor Who forum over there.

I think the Broadcasting forum tops the lot for worst section of the board now though. It's just politics forum 2.0 and don't you dare ever say anything non-praise about the BBC.

There was a thread on DS too about ghosts and supernatural stuff. I have no idea what the posters name was but they kept posting the most outrageous stories. If this was now I would have been convinced that got ChatGPT to write them 😂
Was it DS that had a long-running thread about whether Star Trek should have more storylines including ghosts?

Is Stoatie from DS on here?

There were a couple of rival spinoff sites to the DS forums, and they were rivals. I was on Diabolik TV as well, and Stoatie was too. There was also MAW who I chatted to a lot, who was Gazwah on Diabolik. Not the same as Gazwah who posted on DS and was a bonkers conspiracy theorist.

One user who I’m convinced is no longer with us is Cessna. I know he was approaching retirement age (Or was already retired) because I recall him mentioning that he had left School some “60 years previous”

He hasn’t posted since 2021. So it makes you wonder.
This also goes for Dan's Dad. Dan is his dog, by the way.
