One of the weirdest was Nightcleaner, who used to PM female members asking them if they were interested in dogging. He disappeared suddenly after talking about having heart trouble. I do wonder whether he died.

I can't remember his name, but there was a really angry older man who had a fetish for women in skirt suits, and women's tights, which he referred to as "nylons". He had a website about air stewardesses, iirc. He posted a lot about his inability to get a job and ranted a lot about psychometric tests.

I only really read the Soap, LBC, Sport and Advice threads and my word there are some nasty, nasty people on there. By far the LBC one is full of the most opinionated, toxic individuals.

I don’t get the the gang up on Occy mentality. He/she is harmless.

I never got that either, Occy used to make me laugh.

Yes, I did get uninvited pm’s from one of the resident forum pervs/weirdos, and he turned bitchy/bitter when I politely advised him to get help/counselling for his odd behaviour. So I turned off my pm’s for a while, then he ended up eventually getting banned.

You were one of my favourite posters on DS! I remember how you'd speak about your personal experiences with race and the absolute mental cases who'd condescend to you like their lives depended on it, made me so mad on your behalf but you were always so graceful.

It's a shame DS was so badly moderated because there were good posters too, sadly many were banned by the barmy aforementioned mods or just driven away by the bullies and general dysfunction of the place.

I remember Soma from the LBC thread, understandably got very short shrift on there but for some reason was always nice to me, never knew why.

Soma was very odd and was a prolific poster who suddenly disappeared. I'm sure Iain Dale, who would post occasionally, was convinced they were some activist but I can't for life off me think who it was.

How "she" ever got away with some of the nasty stuff she posted in the early days will always confuse me. Some of the posts, if anyone else posted it, they would have been instantly banned. Strange.

One of their earlier meltdowns, maybe the first one, was in a Showbiz thread about celeb secrets. They went insane because not many people wanted to join them in their defending of... Michael Barrymore. Tanya reckoned they'd had someone die in their home too and poor wittle Barrymore was a victim, that we shouldn't have judged him for running away. It was proper mental and despite how long I've used the internet, I'd never seen someone behave quite that way on a forum before. It was the most baffling thing until "she" did it again, and again and it became clear what she was upto.

Does anyone remember Monalisa from the DS soap forum? Absolute Fruit loop, didn‘t work and seemed to spend most of her time flying back and to from Belfast to London to stalk the cast of Eastenders. She was eventually banned but the fruit loopery continued on Twitter. I seem to remember she did something really awful but can’t remember what it was.

The BBC had to get involved because she was literally stalking the EE cast. Is she still around?

went on that forum recently because I wanted to find out something about an Eastenders episode and saw a mod has made a sticky post telling off members of the soaps forum for starting “soap wars” and threatening bans for those that display toxic and clique-like bullying behaviour (erm, doesn’t that apply to all their sub forums?)

I saw one of his videos once. iirc… he was on vacation somewhere and there was a middle aged, a bit fat, blonde belly dancer. He (Pigeon) had long hair in a ponytail and was quite nerdy, and had a sort of high pitched voice. A bit like Joe Pasquale, though not as extreme.

Yep, he was young, with long brown hair which he wore in a ponytail. Quite a high, nasal voice. Southern UK accent.
His other account was LP Robinson, which may or may not have been the same person who started loads of arguments about immigration and other random stuff using the same username, but spelled differently. The original LP Robinson was a reincarnation of JemimaPudleduck, who was similar but more unhinged and got banned, I think.

There's no way of telling from an email address if someone is a perv, I suppose. I think Dream Stuffing started off by posting random Tv-related nonsense before unleashing his schoolboy fantasies. Nightcleaner, another proper freak who used to DM female members and ask them if they were into dogging, was a pretty boring, everyday poster most of the time IIRC.
