This might be a stupid question but have you got the email alerts when they come back into stock on? I was looking for a pair last Christmas and managed to get some in February by logging on as soon as I got the notification.
I have (not a stupid question!)

Hard agree. I think Celine and Loewe are so desirable at the moment with such beautiful designs that the likes of Givenchy and Balmain seem quite dated in comparison. Obviously it's all a matter of personal taste but the minimal/classic aesthetic is huge at present and the top brands represent that so well. In my mind it kind of goes:

Top tier: Chanel, Hermes
Very slightly below: Celine, Fendi, Loewe, LV
Third tier: YSL, Prada, Gucci, Dior
Fourth: McQueen, Valentino, Versace, D&G, Burberry, Givenchy, Balmain, Stella McCartney, Kenzo

Obviously not an exhaustive list!
My lists would be completely different. Balmain is having a moment and I don’t rate Fendi

Girls. Need some advice.

So I’ve never had a pair of heels that cost over £20 lol genuinely, because I just haven’t seen value in spending on shoes. I cannot, and mean cannot walk in heels. I’ve ALWAYS worn chunky block heels or mules. Mainly from Primark actually 🤣 the irony of going to Sexy Fish in my Shein heels the other week and I normally wear Primark perspex mules with a large YSL Sac De Jour haha. The most I ever do is 3 inches, and it has to be block. Even if I won the lottery tonight I couldn’t fill my wardrobe with Loubs and the YSL heels (I would, for display hahaha)

So my boyfriend wants to buy me my first designer pair, and I finally want some too. I’ve seen these. I’m fairly sure I could just learn, and would only really ever wear them to restaurants where I’m getting out the car outside lol. So I’ve settled on these which I’ve seen in store and love, yet to properly try on. Maybe I need something more supportive like the Dior slingbacks or Chanel block heel pumps? My question is are

- Is Louboutin REALLY as uncomfy as they say across all styles? I know some are more than others, but my feet are dainty and narrow anyway (I stuck my foot in them quickly and that didn’t seem to be an issue)

- Is the red sole initially just an absolute nightmare before it gets worn? As I have just 0 balance basically 🤣

If you are looking for Louboutin you should have slim feet for comfort.
Ive had variety of Louboutin and I find high heeled sandals are my favourite they always are comfy and the style never goes out of fashion. My favourite are Jonatina.
I have slim feet and I find the So Kates so uncomfortable.
If we are still in the 2015 era I would highly recommend YSL triumph platforms as your first. I still wear mine to this day when I’m away.
Practice on a hard surface. You have got this!
Let us know what you bought. :))

Does anyone have an LV Capucines BB size? I've always wanted one, just wanted to see if anyone would recommend or if there's any other suggestions for a bag of that size/value?

This is my fear, what’s the point when a £50 rep could do the job, it just looks so pretty though 😩 the colour block ones for autumn too are just 👌🏻
I think the Aspinal totes are nicer & cost alot less. I love mine

Which one is it? I’d recommend either either anika_personalshopping or conniecollective - they are both proper. Anika works for Selfridges and Connie did and has now gone it alone. They have access to either stock in the stores that they can get their hands on first, or they also work directly with the brands at being able to get a lot of the rarer sold out pieces. For Hermes I’d go to these two

A lot of the other “personal shoppers” now are also legit, but they won’t have an association with any shop or brand and they’re more just people buying to re-sell at a profit - which is fine if you’re just desperate for something sold out or in a rush. For example my ex-friend runs @Crepzstation, they don’t have any real affiliation with the brands but they make it their mission to get sold out stuff or source it, then charge people over the odds. But as they work with a load of footballers it gets them a good rep, as they’ll probably be doing it for less profit for them. It also gives people the luxury of going “I want these new Dior shoes in a 9 in this colour” and then it becomes my friends mission to look for them, buy them and re-sell to them at this premium and the footballers don’t have to lift a finger. They do also sell things under RRP when they can get hold of bulk amounts from brands.

On the FLIP side, some of the more un legit personal shoppers can be fake
Thanks so much for replying :)

I decided I'm going to order directly from the site just to be safe! I noticed a PS on instagram had Orans cheaper than RRP but I just don't trust it so it's better to be safe than sorry!

Interesting because I actually follow crepzstation haha! I love their page

Yeah we spent SO long at her stall just looking at absolutely everything. My friend got some of the blue flowery Chanel earrings and a matching hairpin, I got the pin in my photo above. Just absolutely lovely stuff and I also love that she uses vintage scarves etc and the upcycling part too ❤
The Chanel hot balloon earrings are stunning aswell with the pearl drops
Is yours the one she shared on IG stories earlier? The wristlet keyring?

I had a vintage speedy 25 but sold it after a few months. I loved the bag but it didn't work with my lifestyle ie carrying by top handles. Shame cos I loved the bag!

Trust me, it was a rarity for me too! I’m not sad I don’t have the type of friends who were out 4/5 nights a week any more tbf, as soon as I started prioritising myself, my health and my goals instead of partying they’re nowhere to be seen 🫣
That's what happened to me. I'd like to go out just to a nice bar once in a blue moon but nobody to be seen ever lol

Yes, and I told her it's exactly what I wanted. Very excited to receive it and tbf my current non-designer one, cost similar and was made by an Etsy seller. I feel like I'm getting a bit of a bargain
Ah I did wonder. It's lovely - very smart looking! I hope she's at the next handmade/vintage market as I want to browse everything again 🤣
