Does anyone have a Polene Paris bag? Such a good price point and really beautiful looking bags.

I’ve got the mini neuf and adore it! It’s so cute for evenings out and fits a decent amount of stuff (although it’s a bit fiddly to get stuff in and out under the handle as it’s quite rigid) and the strap means I don’t have to put it down on sticky tables!!

my boyfriend has always said he wants to buy me these as he thinks they are classy/sexy…. I told him to forget this and never mention it again. i’m a level -10 in walking in heels. this is level 1000. I can’t even imagine?? the most beautiful heel though.

Oh they’re stunning on, but they are level 1000 for sure, you need to be very advanced in walking in heels. Strictly taxi to table shoes I feel like I’m always balancing when I’m wearing them, if that makes sense! One gust of wind and it’s all over 🥲

what heels are you looking at? I love the nicol ones you shared, they remind me a bit of amina muaddis

My Black Friday Ganni cardigan arrived.. it took so long I was getting annoyed & hoped I wouldn’t like it so I could just return it and get my €200 back but it’s bloody gorgeous I’m already looking at the other colours.

It’s so thick and holds such a nice shape, it’s the perfect amount of slouchiness while still giving you a shape. I got it quite oversized as I just want to wear it open with a plain tshirt or vest top but I think it would look nice more fitted too.

Good morning enablers, I hope we're all well.

Quick question regards bastard Customs charges I think I know the answer but worth an ask on here as you guys are pretty clued up. My Orans have been held up at the Post Office with a £75 customs charge attached to them They came via Netherlands through eBay and obviously as I haven't seen the package yet I'm not sure if eBay put the value on the outside or the seller has done it. Either way, anyone know if I can dispute the charge? I shouldn't really moan as this is the first time I've been caught with Customs charges for years. I paid about £370 for them so still way under website price.

Also someone on the other thread was asking about a Goyard store. I haven't (the only one in the UK is in Mount Street in London) but when I bought my St Louis remotely during Covid the service was exceptional.

Yes definitely! I use a designer bag daily, why should that be taken away from me when it comes to my mum bag which I’ll use even more plus I want it to be sturdy. I think I’m going to go second hand to be fair! I don’t have an insane budget or anything. I used to love the Givenchy Bambi tote and actually think that’s very sweet, but think it’s had its day. But it’s an option! Willing to look at proper baby bag options but so many are ugly or talking close to a thousand for the Gucci etc ones

Aw congrats on your pregnancy! the one thing I will say is be aware of the hormones pumping through your veins right now, I wanted to paint a massive yellow sun in my LO’s room, thank god I didn’t as we then sold that house a year later. Remember you can always give yourself time to think, time to use some of your existing bags and see what you think!

I know a lot of those baby bags are over buggy handlebars but something else to consider is the weight of carrying a child on a hip/front, personally wouldn’t want to do that with a tote too. I used a backpack throughout and found it really handy, especially when going to a park. Mine is coming up to school age and I’d still use a backpack when we go out now, maybe a cross body if it was just around the corner and I didn’t need to pack activities lol.

Other everyday luxuries I loved when pregnant/a new mum - a kindle, AirPods (you can wear just the one when walking about with baby, similarly when night feeding), ember smart mug, and entirely free but the killer sudoku app

I actually have this bag on my fantasy bag list lol! I can’t justify it for the amount of wear I’d get out of it, but actually so versatile and fun. Disco ball is a neutral imho

Yeah, that’s where I’m at. The odd festival which I have a sequin bum-bag or out for a roast with the in laws. Argh, I’m torn to keep or not!

Anyone have any inside intel on Ugg boots?! Very late to the game I’ve decided I ‘need’ a pair of the Minis but out of stock all over the bloody world by the looks of it - clearly a lot of people had Uggs as Christmas presents! Wonder how long until new stock appears

Not sure if this helps you, but the U.S. never seems to run out of them Nordstrom, UGG, and Zappos are usually well stocked.
