Thinking of buying a Chanel bag - any thoughts or recommendations? I’ve never bought one before and have noticed that you can’t buy online which is a little annoying!

In terms of holding their value, is there certain bags that are best for this? I think I’d like a Classic Flap, still not decided on the size or colour though!

Are they hard to come across or are the stores quite well stocked with sizes and colours?
Classic flap for sure. In terms of holding value, you can’t get more classic than medium classic flap in caviar with gold hardware

I have the same bag but with silver hardware and it will always hold its value well

I'm sure you all have lovely lady dainty feet and not size 9 (43) boats like I do, but does anyone know any of the higher brands who do sandals in my size? So many stop at a 7!

If it's a chunky/dad sandal have you looked at the guys section?

Styles like the Hermes Chypre (however it's spelled) are pretty much identical.

I bought a pair of guys sneakers at xmas because I liked the colour combo better and they were in the sale - they're exactly the same as the ladies version I've bought in the past

I'm definitely more of a dainty lady shoe/sandal person - I refuse to buy mens after spending my teens & early 20s having to do so before the likes of New Look came to my rescue 😆 having to wear weird ass clunky mens shoes lol

These are glorious to match the bags (but also ££ lol)

I follow Caroline Hirons and I think she has around size 9 feet (not 100% sure so sorry if I’m wrong) but I remember her bringing this up on her instagram live and I think she ended getting a pair of Valentino Rockstud flat sandals and a pair of flat Manolo Blahniks. I think several of the Manolo styles go up to this size.

I’m sure some Jimmy Choo styles go up to a 9.
I have looked on their website and not a fan of the 9 selection at the moment. May jaunt into Bicester. Some 8s are ok as I have slim feet so sandal wise 8 would be no issue

Beautiful! I’m going into Selfridges on Friday as I’ll be in London and have an hour to kill - so excited to look at all the bags 💕
