How are they on, are they comfy?Sorry - I bought the Celine gladiators- not these YSLdidn’t want to mislead. I love these but since the lockdowns I struggle with wearing heels too
someone I know got some of these and can’t wear them. Even if I could wear them, you just know the first time I did that heel is going straight down into a pavement crack

I felt the same about mine after a repair!! However after about a year of adhoc use it’s started to patina again and it’s now a lovely light honey colour and looks much better!Hi gals! There are ways to speed up the patina process (check YT or some of the LV fb groups) but I’d be too scared of doing it wrong and staining the leather
Edited to add @Cheezychips I’ve seen people send off handbags to repair places who have special air chamber things that can remove smells from leather, not too helpful as I can’t think what they’re called but worth a look into!
If you want to accelerate the patina - get a good, rich body cream and rub it into the leather nightly - it takes way the brightness and it’s good for the leather too.Hi gals! I bought an old LV Babylone tote some months ago that looked barely used and had very light patina. One strap tore (I think cos I kept it in a dry room), and after I got the cobbler to repair it, my husband applied some bear large/beeswax blend to the straps. It had to be ‘activated’ by a little heat, and to my pleasure, after my husband ran a warm hairdryer over it, it turned a pretty and even light-medium honey shade!
So that’s a way you can accelerate the patina, or just let it develop naturally. Your Alma pm is beautiful, it’s making me want one now lol.

What sort of budget you looking at? Obviously the classic investments are Chanel/Hermes types but (alas) out of my budget! LV Neverfull always seem to resell well. I like to browse the decent resellers too (Luxury Promise/Addicted to Handbags etc)

The colours are perfect though - I’m looking for something in raffia or canvas with some kind of brown element. Celine did a cute little pouch with a wrist strap but seem to have stopped doing it now. Anyone have any other suggestions please?
