Thank you for the jacquemus chat. I like the black, white and pink 🤣 very torn between all 3 but would love the pink for the pop of colour. It’s more an everyday bag as I have little ones and tend to wear a cross body, even when on my own. I had been pretty set on a coach tabby but then felt like they were everywhere and they seem bulky with the compartments but I’d liked the option of two straps, although would rarely use the shorter.

@Scorpihoe I must admit when the puffy bags first appeared I was a firm no, but they’ve really grown on me!

Any recommendations for nice sandals or shoes for summer? I just want my feet kept cool but I need to be able to walk around town and do day to day things without my shins burning. Hermes Oran for example wouldn’t work for me.

I have a pair of black Dioract sandals and love the heel support/back strap but they do rub a bit and I don’t love that they say DIOR across the front so I’d love a more understated option.
The Hermes chypre are by far the most comfortable sandals. I have worn them for miles on city breaks with no trouble at all.

I have a pair of Arizona Love sandals for buzzing about in - very comfortable and none of the back ache that I often get with very flat sandals.

I am going to try these Celine gladiators on today, they have straps and aren’t completely flat so think they’ll do the trick - if they don’t rub!

Is the Dior lip oil that everyone went mad about any good? I don't really wear lipstick because I'm a lip picker but something subtle and hydrating would be of huge benefit
I got my 17 year old it for Christmas and she loves it, it's clear in the tube but turns pinkish on. I only wear matt lipsticks so don't own any myself, however a classic I remember from the 00's was Lancome Juicy Tubes, I had probably every colour, they tasted amazing and we're long lasting and not overly expensive. Going to get my kid started on them, I'm passing down all my 90's and Y2K fashion experience, she's mad that I never kept all the clothes that she's seen me wearing in photos tho lol

Juicy tubes! Now there’s a flashback!

I also used to love a Chubby Stick…

I bought a new Allsaints leather jacket a couple of days ago from Harrods, it's lovely and I got it for a brilliant price (379 down to 240) but I'm really concerned the leather is not as sturdy as I assumed it would be. It's buttery soft, but where the sleeves attach to the arms looks like it could easily rip. My other biker is a 10+ year old Allsaints style in a much sturdier leather, but I stupidly wore it to a party (with a Zara maxi dress and Sinclair's DMs) last week and it's reeking of fire pit smoke. I tried bicarbonate of soda and it's bleached the leather in places, and still smells.

Question is, does anyone have a more delicate leather jacket and has it held up ok at the stress points?

I have a Whistles leather jacket that is also very soft but it’s wearing beautifully as it ages. Im not a huge All Saints fan but I think their quality has generally declined over the last few years which might explain your less sturdy jacket.

And yea, Juicy Tubes! Had so many back in the day. I kept quite a few bits of clothing from the 90s (Rupert the Bear trousers anyone? 😂) and early 00s and my eldest has worn most of it.

I have a whistles one as well, it’s probably it as soft as some of the all saints ones, but it’s definitely well made. I have looked at the all saints concession in John Lewis and the leather jackets are very, very soft. It’s been years since I’ve bought anything from there, so can’t comment on the quality. Who remember the All Saints Rocks leather studded belts? 🤣 I had a tan one.

Does anyone remember the Jocasi belts which made you look like a weight lifter? During my boho phase I bought one in Topshop Oxford St. I wish I’d held on to it!

lovely! Saw this on the PS stories. They had the large blue and pink baskets in Celine today. I got the sandals! Going to do a Footner foot mask now and get my trotters ready for these bad boys!
There was 20% off selected footwear in Selfridges today, YSL, McQueen - lots of decent brands.
Oof they're a beaut. Wish I could wear heels but hypermobility says no lol

Sorry - I bought the Celine gladiators- not these YSL🙈 didn’t want to mislead. I love these but since the lockdowns I struggle with wearing heels too😭 someone I know got some of these and can’t wear them. Even if I could wear them, you just know the first time I did that heel is going straight down into a pavement crack😂
