I want something very decadent looking that I can apply without a mirror. I’m sure Penney’s have plenty of fabulous ones, but I need a label urgently!!!

My Chanel lip balm arrived. The packaging is exquisite. It came with a tiny little booklet in the box, like a letter from Coco herself. I also bought the Chanel lipstick brush. It’s lovely! The logo is indented into it and it feels really sturdy. I am leaving the lip balm to work it’s magic before applying lipstick! It’s these small pleasures that keep us ticking along!

Dior do really nice blotting papers in a wallet (not sure if it’s made of cardboard or plastic) and it has a mirror inside it. It might tide you over until you find the compact of your dreams! Chanel used to do a really cute compact, but it seems to be sold out…

Any thoughts on a Loewe Basket vs a YSL Large Rive Gauche tote to use on holiday?
I prefer the look of the basket, but I’m slightly put off by how “open” it is. I also have a baby so need to carry quite a bit out with me.

I ordered the Loewe basket in a medium and a large and the large definitely felt too big and cumbersome even though I do need the room. I can’t decide! Any other suggestions?

I've got an insert for my Loewe basket. Found a random seller on Etsy (shop gone now mind) but there are a few companies around if you have a google. Mines got a zipped top so becomes a more secure bag.

The Rive Gauche is huge (and I’m a ‘capacious’ bag kind of a gal ) and I’d be put off by how easy it is to mark.
Have you had a look at the ysl straw and raffia bags? They have some which are more tote-esque which might solve your problem

Boots were supposed to deliver my Lip Oil to store yesterday. Didn't. Still haven't today either and the offer has ended. Always seem to do this when I order higher priced items on offer....they never, ever materialise and their CS is useless. Even Evri deliver better than they do (and half the time leave my shiz in a bin store that is not to do with my house )

Oh no! That’s terrible. Maybe it’s a sign that you should be buying a new Dior bag instead of a new Dior lip oil…
They actually ran the 20% off promo about a month ago as well, so maybe another one will come around soon again .

The oil is cheaper though . They're such a pain in the a, telling me I've got to wait until next week before they'll "resend or refund". Just deliver my goddam tit. They "lost" my EL makeup order aswell before. Not entirely sure why I still use them

Omg I’ve been eyeing this bag!! But specifically the puffy one, no idea why, I’ve not liked it until now but I just think it’s so cute they do a few colours too

They are cute but I don't think they'll age well. The brand seems very "now" and is all over social media which always makes me wary. That said, I think this style has much more longevity than the teeny tiny bags which have been around for a while.

I wouldn’t say it’s a ‘timeless’ bag in terms of selling power but it could be timeless for you! I wear black/white/neutral colours so I love a pop of colour with my bags, scarves and jewellery. Also as above poster said, the shape is great as it’s not a teeny tiny bag but it’s not cumbersome to carry either! Would recommend… let us know what colour you get

Any recommendations for nice sandals or shoes for summer? I just want my feet kept cool but I need to be able to walk around town and do day to day things without my shins burning. Hermes Oran for example wouldn’t work for me.

I have a pair of black Dioract sandals and love the heel support/back strap but they do rub a bit and I don’t love that they say DIOR across the front so I’d love a more understated option.
