I loved the Book Tote, but DH Gate has been the final nail in the coffin (plus it's so overpriced).
I ended up getting an Hermes all leather tote for only a couple of hundred more

I have been incredibly careful with it, but I just love it so much - and I’m a big believer in using bags rather than babying them (I was actually picking up a bag from aftercare when I picked up the GP)
The whole DH Gate universe so horrifying to me. I’m a huge believer in the history and magic of a brand - that you’re buying into generations of skill, craft etc, and now teenagers are running around saying their plastic copies are made in the same factory

Re the spelling mistakes and unclear matching in product shots - it’s to stop take down/legal requests. Judging by this tiktok content the items shared come looking very close to legit
It must depend what it is, imagine it’s much easier to make small and medium canvas items versus a knit or shoes - but with that said there’s one big video sharing a Birkin that doesn’t look any different to my untrained eye lol.I work in the city near Bond St where Birkins are staple, and there’s NO way I’d be able to tell the difference from afar. But it must be embarrassing going into shops and the sales staff side eyeing you. Like I’ve said before, I’d rather have a decent All Saints bag than something fake.

Zimmerman are lovely, Ralph Lauren can have some lovely ones in, &OtherStories is a good more affordable option. I think netaporter is the best bet as more options. I love Rat & Boa but they can be see through
