Kate Spade are great (in my opinion). I use them as my day bags so they're definitely hardy!
I’ve ordered it lol. Hoping it won’t come when my boyfriend is home as we have just move home and getting an extension and decorating so I don’t want him to know I’m spending unnecessary money 🤣 but anyway he will prob go to pub later and spend money so I will do what I like! Lol

I think TK Maxx Gold Label is store seconds, maybe returns and past seasons. That stuff doesn’t bother me, I buy if I like the design, the quality is there and there’s no damage. They had a Herve Leger dress in store there recently that is current Selfridges stock for £700 less! I saw them both on the same day.

There was a program about it recently, there are some codes on the labels which indicate the origins and you can tell if you’re getting a good deal.

There's been a couple of times where i was carrying a nice bag or wearing a piece of jewellery and i've been straight up asked by acquaintances or friends 'how much is that?' 'how much did that bag cost?' and i always find myself so uncomfortable because i don't like talking about money but i also don't want to come off rude. I don't know how to answer these kinds of questions.

How do you guys respond to these questions? Do you think its rude that people ask such things?
I suppose the tone/context is key although it's usually asked in a judgemental way so yeah I do think it's rude. I can't stand when people turn their noses up and say "ugh, I'd never pay a thousand pound for a BAG" as if it's some badge of honour - that's fine, no one is asking you to! At the end of the day, we all spend money. I know people who will happily spend 100s on going out/takeaways etc every month and it all adds up.

Goyard definitely. Seen too many Z listers and Love Island flops with Jacquemus bags!!
That was my thinking too!! I love the style of the Jacquemus but I just have a feeling it will go out of style and like you said…. too many Z listers 😄😄😄 I think Goyard it is then 🥰🥰 I’ll send a pic to the thread when I’ve got it 👜🤎

Does anyone know if Louis Vuitton are going to restock their pillow comfort mules? I need them asap but if they don’t restock them I will get myself some Dior sunglasses instead 😂
Please get the Dior sunglasses instead 🙏🏼 Those slides just remind me of Sallie Axl, you don’t need them.

Hi everyone, I’m off to Paris in a few weeks 🇫🇷 and hoping to treat myself to a bag while I’m there. At the moment I’m torn between getting a Jacquemus Le Grand Chiquito or a Goyard tote. Which one would you all go for??? 👜👜

Guys, what would you do if your friend purchased a fake of a real designer item you owned?

And to expand on it, what would you do if they got compliments on it and people said “awwww you and scorpihoe have the same bag” 😅
Nothing - what exactly could you without coming across as an awful person?

Let it go - lifes too short

I work in sales for a blue chip company, I’m a decent performer who achieves my targets so I do like to treat myself! My OH is self employed with a family business and is very cautious with his money but means I am lucky enough to be able to use my earnings to buy what I want. I contribute half to all the bills and as the breadwinner he will pay for larger things like holidays and home improvements. It’s not always been like this though, I remember having to buy a pair of £10 shoes for work when we bought our first house and worrying about it as it skinted me. I know we are lucky and I count my lucky stars every day and never take anything for granted.

Can you be my friend if that's the kind of gift you give ;)
I only have a small circle and I’m all for sharing the wealth 😂 Plus, I always find it hard to get new mother’s a present as everything is focused on the baby (who you can’t go wrong for)

Has anyone seen any good beach bags? I like this one but, think it might not be the most practical View attachment 1191363
Really cute but maybe difficult to pack if taking abroad?

These are few others that I like that are wicker or raffia style.. I’ve had the loewe for a few years and can also be a bit difficult to pack but I usually put stuff inside like packing cubes with my underwear in, other accessories etc then put it into my suitcase.

The police/trading standards turn up every now again and raid a few shops but it’s definitely for show. They turn a blind eye the rest of the time.

I had a handful of fakes when I was younger/skint/didn’t know better but now I understand all the wider issues around fakes, and could afford to buy the majority of genuine things if I really wanted to (within reason) I would never buy fake.

It baffles me more why people go to Cheetham Hill and buy fake Nike/adidas/high street brands. A genuine T-shirt is only say £15-20 more and the brand name won’t wash off after 3 washes 🤔
I know someone who gets fake Nikes from there - why though?? Surely part of buying branded sports shoes is to give feet support and comfort from the reputable brand, I’m sure the fakes don’t offer the same.

if you’ve ever considered ordering from honey birdette don’t

i almost feel bad for posting in here there was a sale. it’s JUST about worth the sale prices they’re doing now but full price they’re stealing a living the lace is scratchy and there’s threads coming loose from a RRP £200 set! it’s going straight back
I mean this in the nicest way as bless you and praying for your refund to come through sharpish, but had never heard of this brand so went to look and their Instagram content is wild I am not surprised to hear it feels awful 😳 putting it behind the cut as I’m mortified to be sharing x

ETA - just looked and they’re an Ali express reseller. Always worth running Insta huns or fast fashion (ITS!) through the Ali express camera lens. They are indeed stealing a living!

Are you guys more of a shoes, bags or jewellery person? Sadly I’m all 3

I’m trying to juggle everything I want and all my wishlists, I don’t know what I want the most 😂😂
Bags.

Got told off by an 11yo recently. :cautious:
"Why do you need so many stupid bags?" "buy one bag, wear it until it breaks, buy another one".
