I just don’t get fakes, unless you’re a teen trying to fit in on a budget.

I like designer for quality and style, not to flash labels to impress randos on the gram.

Saving up, splurging in a nice store or hunting down something special online etc is half the excitement for me.
Buying a bag from a back street doesn't cut it and ID KNOW IT WAS FAKE!

Like other’s have said.
A decent leather (for non vegans) bag from the high street every-time over a China, slave made rip off.

I bought my first (entry level) handbag recently, my friends baby went for it and I was like oh nooooo not a toy, and my other friend then asked me if it was real charming.

I was soooo close to picking malachite but the lady said it is really delicate and I’ve seen pictures of malachite when it’s wet, over time the stone loses it’s sheen and looks all matte 🥲

My polene eventually came today, it was on pre order. I really like it! I remember someone asking a while back if you are charged any custom charges. I wasn’t charged anything but maybe I was just lucky (excuse all the bags in the background, we are moving soon lol)

So I was previously on this thread with a different username but set up a new account to change it. Anyway I went to Manchester yday with the intention of getting a new LV bag for my birthday but went for this from saint Laurent instead I am still tempted to do an online LV order though for their passport cover and cosmetic pouch in classic monogram.

also chanel in Manchester no longer requires an appt but there was nothing in there that took my fancy, there were quite a few bags in pastels with silver hardware and they had a few pairs of their trainers as well! No nice sandals though

Guys, what would you do if your friend purchased a fake of a real designer item you owned?

And to expand on it, what would you do if they got compliments on it and people said “awwww you and scorpihoe have the same bag”

Honestly I wouldn’t care. You know it’s the real deal and that’s all that matters.

If you would like to start a “go fund Ooh” for a Cartier bracelet or ring I would fully support this move I’m not rocking Argos jewellery don’t get me wrong
But my most expensive item jewellery wise is probably Chupi, before she became a massive twat.

I haven’t seen the collaboration so may well be speaking out of my arse but I’m not a huge fan of Gucci these days. Some of it feels a bit chavvy No offence if Gucci is your thing (I have a Dionysus clutch which I love and couple of pairs of loafers which I’ll wear until I die) but maybe it’s because it’s copied so much that I feel it’s losing its appeal

What kinda jobs does everyone have? , trying to work out what do I need to do to afford all these things

I studied quantity surveying at university and I’m now a property developer. I have a property portfolio of houses I rent out but, my main job is building/buying luxury properties. So I have a large disposable income and can treat myself when I like but, I don’t splurge that often. I like to treat my close friends and family too. My husband to be is also extremely wealthy, so that helps a lot! (That’s not the reason I’m marrying him) I don’t come from a wealthy family but, one with a strong work ethic. My mum worked for everything she has and has done well in life, so she was the inspiration for us to do well!

Just wanted to say that a few months ago I asked for suggestions for a beach bag. A lot of you suggested the Chloe woody. Chloe isn’t my usual style but somehow love this. my bag arrived last week and I love it even more in person. Thanks everyone
